Oh okay maybe I was thinking about the Sparc then when I said the controls were changed. I love the sparc for its lightweight but the strikefire looks better imo with the mount that comes included

Didnt they also move the location of the controls so that they are rear facing? Wouldn't. That help to solve the issue.

So originally I had no interest in an optic because I couldnt justify paying for an aimpoint or eotech. I got to looking around the web and am intrigued with the strikefire ii and sparc ii. I know that most complaints about the original design had to do with the lens cover being a pain the arse (and that seems to have been addressed with the newer models). Is there any other problems I should take into consideration that anyone here as experienced? Also, does anyone have any recommendations in the $200 price range outside of primary arms or bushnell that might be a option that is close in value?

I like this idea and I can't help but wonder if this would bridge the gap between AR and hunting rifle?

I mostly want a free float for the accuracy upgrade. As far as a rail itself, Im not planning on mounting a whole lot things to my Ar, in the future just a red dot and magnifier which I would probably like a flip down front sight for. I really am to interested in a quad rail, mainly just a continuous top rail. And lets not forget the importance of aesthetics lol

And it just occured to me that I vould probably just dremel down the a2 sight and use that as a gas key in a worst case scenario right? I guess the only real thing thats stopping me from switching to FF using a two piece is I dont see a real lightweight option.

I really like the look of the odin works or Fortis rails but Im not sure Id be able to to git the hardware overvthe fixed brake to do so.

Well it doesnt necessarily have to be lighter than the MOE but id still like it to be lightweight. I have to find other ways to trim some weight.

Hey I was looking a the Fortis and odin works free floats but I am not sure that I will be able to install the gas key or the mounting hardware over the fixed brake.

Yeah the price is going to force me to wait a bit before actually going through with the upgradr but that will prolly be my first alteration. I like the drop ins but since i want to keep it as light as possible im prolly better off removing the other pieces anyway. Plus im a sicko and just like playing with my dremel lol.

Oh okay, I'm sure it does make a difference though. I think a geissele upgrade may happen down the line but as of right now Im more interested in upgrading the hanguard for cosmetics more than anything else lol.

Ahhh okay I get it now, have you noticed any significant difference in your rifles accuracy from the upgrade?

So I used the seal 1 on my AR build and just brought it to the range yesterday. So far Im impressed, I noticed the action began to almost lube itself as the gun heated up during use. I used the hairdryer method to apply the paste and as far as I can tell everything worked as it was advertised to. I am going to continue using the product on all my guns and I will check back in with you guys if anything comes up.
