I don’t think the RSO’s at RTSP will complain since they sell those adapters at their store.

Do you have some measurements of that and the sliding glass doors? I’m trying to figure out if I actually have a space to put it… Regardless I am still looking for a safe -

Old Bridge Rifle and Pistol Club - NRA membership required?

Is not a mafia racket… there’s a huge part of the NRA dedicated to instruction and sanction competitions and that is why most clubs are affiliated. It may be hard to believe for you but not everything is politics. -

Yes, Old Bridge is an NRA affiliated club and you have to maintain NRA membership as long you are a member of the club. -

I would advise patience. I have several non resident permits and everyone took a month or so to process, some longer. There’s a bureaucratic process that needs to happen and in this case it is new for all involved. I personally think that it will take somewhere between 4 to six weeks. My application has been in for a little over lof two weeks, PD have received the prints, references have been contacted and they sent the letters back… things are moving, not as fas as we would like it but moving. I’m trying to nit thing too much about it, go to the range, shoot a match and get a nice carry rig while you wait

My references got letters, just like the ones my PD use to sent before FARS, after 10 days I dropped my application. Also my PD confirmed that they received the fingerprints last Monday and the Sgt. In charge of the Firearms Unit told me that he will contact me after receiving the reference letters back if there’s anything missing in the application. This is West Orange PD.

RTSP does not have additional cost when you attend the range once you are a member. The limit your times to blocks of one hour but if it isn’t crowded you can ask for another. The do charge you for guest, with the membership they give you five free passes for guests after that they pay as a walk in

Shongum, which I am a current member since 2014, does have a waiting list but it is totally worth it. It has a 100 yrds rifle, 25 yrds outdor pistol pit, shotgun trap fields, archery range, land for hunting and an indoor pistol range. Put your name on the list and one day you will get a pleasant surprise. Meanwhile you could consider RTSP, they have two locations (Randolph and Union). 25 and 50 yards ranges. Their membership scheme is such that you pay one reasonable amount for year and you don’t have to pay anything more when you go to the range (unless you are bringing guests). I’m also a member of this place and attend regularly. Gun For Hire is also great but the membership only gives you a discounted rate when you attend the range, and a few more perks. Cherry Ridge has great facilities but I personally couldn’t get along with the way the Range Officers run the place. Let’s say that people skills aren’t their thing. I was a member there for a year. I you are willing to drive more there’s some affordable ranges in Pennsylvania. Hope this helps.

So, does anyone has a contact for a certified instructor that is running qualifications like next week?
