  1. We had a 2013 Elantra for our kid’s first car. Keep it about 6 years, ran great, no issues. We later sold to a friend. Still a friend!. Only suggestion would be to purchase the aftermarket spare tire kit. These did not come with a spare tire and jack from factory. Only a can of resealant. At the time the kit could be purchased on Amazon.

  2. Two new Yealink VOP phones - I purchased both of these and never used them. Includes power adapters. Neither are programed to a specific carrier. I assume in the right hands they can be. I could not figure out how to program them to Verizon and did not want to spend the time.

$100 for both pick up in West Essex. I will ship at buyer expense.

T40G IP Phone, 3 Lines. 2.3-Inch Graphical LCD. Dual-Port Gigabit Ethernet, 802.3af PoE

  3. I am in Eastern Monmouth and used an engineering firm out of Point Pleasant - Robert Burdick, PE, for both the site plan and survey.  They have a professional surveyor on staff.  Did a good job as far as I was concerned.

    It would be too damaging.

Wash everything that is durable, like soda bottles, and whatnot with soapy water.   Wipe down meat packages or remove and place in zips.

Quarantine boxes for 24 hours(minimum) or take the product out of the bag like cereals.

Wash fruits and veggies in a colander.

There is little evidence that people are getting sick from this method of transmission but I don't want to be the first, so this is how I handle it.

Gloves in the store and bags of groceries in the trunk.  Gloves off before getting in the passenger compartment.    Gloves back on before hauling into the house and dumping out the bags or putting certain bags into 24 quarantine.

Everything gets washed that can be washed.   Dispose of bags and gloves.

Practice glove hygiene with shaving cream.  Have someone dispense on your gloves while you are wearing them.  Simulate getting bags from the car, getting everything removed from bags and get the gloves off without bits of shaving cream all over the place.  It isn't easy and it takes some practice.

Thank you! This is very helpful information.

Creality Ender 3 with some upgrades and a connected raspberry pi running octopi.

I got it as a cheap entry point to play around with 3D printing.  Assembly, upgrade parts and tuning/tweaking were required to get it to the point where I can press “print” and come back to a completed print without issues.

There are more “out of the box” print ready printers available at higher price points.

Any recommendations on “out of the box” print ready printers would be appreciated. I am a beginner, looking to learn about 3D and perhaps contribute to the “war effort” by printing masks for my friends and family.

    thanks

  6. Have any forum members had first hand experience with modular home construction? I am evaluating the pros and cons for a new shore home I am planning. If so, please pm me. I would very much like to speak with you regarding your experience.

    Thanks to all

Is anyone here planning on going to see They Shall Not Grow Old? I’d like to see it, but went to find tickets and the site froze google twice on my phone and did nothing on my laptop. If anyone knows where it’s playing in north jersey (I’m in Denville) and could link a working site for tickets I’d appreciate it. Thanks.

Bought tickets in Wayne on Monday for the 27th.  East Hanover was sold out.

  8. Can someone recommend a gunsmith in the North Jersey/Essex area to straighten out the mess I made when I changed the springs on my model 66? I put lower power springs in, got the pull I was looking for, but also got the light strikes. I am sure it is easy fix, but I want it done by an experienced pro.

Also, if I ship the firearm to a gunsmith, do I need to go through FFL?

    Thanks

  9. Thanks guys. It is a simple setup without any other input sources. Just TV connected to set top box via HDMI and an optical cable from digital audio out on TV directly to optical audio in on receiver. The Tv worked great last night on just the HDMI connected to cable box. But today i want to get the external speakers hooked up.

    Thanks again

  10. I am hoping some of you home theatre enthusiasts can help me out? I recently replaced my trusty 15 year old 50” Sony WEGA with a Samsung 65” UHD Smart TV. Both the Sony WEGA and Integra home theater  receiver were pre HDMI inputs. All audio/ visual connections were via RCA input jacks. I bypassed the Integra on the new setup by hooking the tv directly to the FIOS cable box via HDMI. The TV works fine but I of course lose the audio from the home theater. Here is my question. My new TV has an optical audio out and the older receiver also have optical audio in ports. If I hook the optical cable between the Tv out and receiver in, should that give me the 5.1 surround sound back?

    Thanks

    Andy
