While i agree with you sentiment. Lets not forget that the Government has an unending pocket full of cash(our cash), where as we the people have to rely solely on volunteerism and donations . We are actually paying them (the govt) to fight against we the people to take away our constitutional rights. To me thats insanity. He was on mine when i moved back to towaco, I went to school with him and his brother Jeff. Both nice people. Now im in Mine Hill and the chief here is good with turn around for permits etc . No more then two weeks ever so far.

I wish i still lived in Montville. The old Chief Richie cook would turn around permits in a week. As a kid Montville was a republican/ conservative town and a great place to grow up . Good PD there and good for you !

what about the things that define your firearm as an assault rile,shotgun? Pistol grip. bayonet lugs, collapsible stocks and the other stupid definitions of what an assault weapon is . pretty sure the last time bayonets were used was in Viet Nam or in the sandbox .

For a PP or FID? either way thats an insane amount of time. I applied 1/13/23 got my PP on 1/26/23 Wharton/Mine Hill is pretty good with PP and FID. Took 2 weeks to get my change of address when i moved here in 2013

PP Fars on 1/13/23 got call to pay the (1/23) $2 at local PD and that its now in the Chiefs hands that was 1/23/23(yesterday) wharton/ Mine Hill. They are generally pretty good. last time prior to FARS was 2 weeks for PP and they let me skate for the $2.

Im pretty sure i read that if you have lived in NJ for 10 years or more and you have applied for FID or PP and have been issued them, mental health sp66 is not required . I read that on the nj.gov site. Obviously you would have filled out the SP 66 form for your FID etc initially

No way i would submit my dog to the orange army. I had him out a black river sat and sun, didnt find any birds. Ill go after next chukar stocking too. I never bought my dogs first thing opening day, generally waited till the afternoon. Black river is about 7 minutes from me and the other WMA's are not far either. Im in Mine Hill near Randolph. Would definitely like to get him on some birds prior to season
