Better than Edge, just upgrade during Black Friday deals. I upgraded from the S2 to S4 for 1 cent plus $36 installation on AT&T. Much better than the $250 I paid for the S2 when it was released in Oct 2011.

Sure makes sense. I was referring to the HK45T in response to the OP's comparison request.
-
Isn't the HK45T a better comparison to the FNX45? I have the HK45 and P30 and I simply love the grip.

First gun shop experience was awful at Ramsey Outdoors

Another +1 for the Ramsey location; it's always been a pleasant experience there. Another -1 for the Paramus location, it just plain sucks. -

An old photo of my Jackson USA SL2H Soloist.

Thanks for posting. This is a good reminder about what's going on halfway around the world. No sympathy for the Taliban.

I'd tell him to pound sand. 10 gallons is not a lot, and the power outage is going to be for a while...

This is not metal, but I've really liked my No Spill Poly Gas Can. I have the 2.5 gallon version, but here's the 5 gallon: http://www.amazon.com/No-Spill-1450-5-Gallon-Poly-Compliant/dp/B000W9JN4S/

odd noises in the night I cant explain
Skyline replied to Tactical Turtle's topic in General Discussion
The volunteer fire dept in my town uses an "air raid siren" for fires; I think there are three of them. It was a little freaky when I first moved into town, but now that I'm used to it, I think it's pretty cool. It's really loud when I'm near the siren though. Here's what it sounds like (Federal Model 5): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mT9IZsRsuJo -
I really want to see this!

Ramsey Outdoor must hate selling firearms.

I bought both my HKs at RO in Ramsey and had a great experience every time. No FID or PPP needed to browse or fondle. I just ask for help when I need it, the whole eye contact thing can be an exercise in frustration, so I don't rely on it. Ron is really great, he'd call me to give updates since both my HKs had to be ordered. The other guys like Fabio, etc were very friendly too. I think they're all just really laid back.My experiences with RO Paramus are a different story. FID required, not too friendly or helpful even when you ask. They just seem to be convinced you're not going to buy. I'm not going back. -
Purchased 2 guns from Meltzers tonight
Skyline replied to Jfoster99's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
Silly question, but the gun was in the factory plastic box right? If so, then it sounds reasonable to me. If it was literally the gun in a plastic bag, that's pretty ghetto, lol. I carried my purchases directly out the door to my car in the factory plastic box, nothing else. -
