is there anywhere local to the central jersey area that has plate carriers in stock to try on?

i also have an XT22R. I love it, super accurate and a lot of fun. I would recommend the tube fed model though ( i have the mag fed version), marlin mags are hard to come by and very expensive.

some real good info here, thanks guys. There is of course the chance its just me i would never deny that but i think its the sights in this case. I will mark it and try moving it slightly to the right. Thank you EC i have access to a sight pusher that i helped build so im ok with that. im guessing there are no marks or anything of the such to tell u if its exactly centered? if i measure with calipers the distance from side to side will this get it pretty close?

call the number and talk to Kyle. He was explaining to me that since all the parts are made in house sometimes it just says that because they are not assembled yet. i know they had just finished a run of them, we ended up talking machinist stuff for about 25 mins on the phone lol.

I did and after 100 rds no FTFs or FTEs and i always no when there is one bc my wife gets all pissy about it ( its her gun lol). side note: we were shooting crappy, NOT high velocity ammo and still no problems. i was impressed

My glock 19 has ameriglo sights installed ( by previous owner). Its shooting about 4 inches left of center. Just to make sure it wasnt me i let a friend shoot it who i consider excellent with a handgun, he is dead nuts with his own glock and was hitting the same place with mine. I want to move the rear sight over but i dont know how far over equates to what. It was about 4 inches left at 15 yards. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

glad you chimed in to back the story up lol, marlin is awesome took a bottle cap off at 100 yards the other day. Only problem with it is my wife loves it so much once she starts shooting it no one else gets to play with it lol.

Sure bc i already despised of shore shot before this. Me and another forum member met there bc he was coming from south jersey and he had never seen the place before. We did the exchange in the parking lot making sure to keep it as inconspicuous as possible without looking like criminals (even though we are in a range parking lot way off the beaten trail). They kept sending the range officer outside so we wrapped things up as quick as possible and after i left the other guy went inside to buy ammo and heard them reciting his license plate number to some guy behind the counter. Like i said no hair off my a$$ bc i hated them already but just a major PITA bc i waited for a week after to see if a cop would show up to my door. I have no idea why they were like that and personally if he thought it was a better idea for us to come inside he should have walked the extra 10 ft and told us that.

My packages have always come ups and i was told that a firearm can not be in the system for more than two days. So if it was a far distance you would have to upgrade it to 2 day shipping. i can promise you that its not "easy". So i would have to agree with everyone else to not just get started on it. I have a 1/2-28 die but my question to you would be can you separate that barrel completely from from the gun. And what size is it when you do. It would have to fit into a lathe and i dont think mine would be large enough to accept it.

So does this mean a henry lever action is illegal in nj? it hold 15 LR but will hold more of shorter .22 rds? (dont mean to hijack jw)

i just got rid of my S&W Sigma 9mm for exactly this reason, i have tiny little hands and shrot fingers that are usually referred to as jimmy dean sausages lol. So i just got a glock 19, removed the backstrap and installed a 3.5 connector. it is prefect for me! i couldnt be any happier. My buddy has the 92fs (in .40) and i felt that it was very "chunky" in my hand and hated shooting in, just personal opinion. If you dont live far from jackson your more then welcome to come hold mine and i prob can get my buddy over with his Beretta for you to hold that too. Good luck!!

AR def had a gas leak looks like the front sight block had shifted slightly forward. Everything is function prefect after a tear down, clean up, and rebuild thanks for all the help again everyone.
