Yes, that is a police range in the Meadowlands right off of the Belleville Turnpike. From what I understand though it belongs to the NAPD.

I've heard the same that there is a pack out in the meadowlands.

The "headshot" rule is bizarre. Sometimes they enforce it sometimes they don't. I guess it all depends on the RO and how he's feeling that day.

Luciano's in Lodi always has great prices. I was in the market for a G19 a year ago and the lowest new price I remember seeing was around $575 + tax and NICS. I was able to find one very very gently used for $500.

I couldn't quote a number but there are plenty. Shame is not nearly enough are "active" along the lines of the people on this site. Plenty of fudd's with a hunting shotgun/rifle or two who don't care about 2A issues. In my experiences I'm also shocked at how many people I come across who own a single handgun for home defense that they shot once years ago when they bought it and haven't touched since.

Let's not get our hopes up too much. Even with a favorable ruling from SCOTUS, I have no doubt NJ will do everything in their power to make it incredibly cumbersome for us to get CCW permits. I can see it now, $500 permit fees, mandatory training from the State Police that's conducted once a year on a Tuesday at 5am in the middle of nowhere and each class only has room for 10 people.
