  1. This is why I don’t like investing with short term horizons.
  2. Converted .223 with mixed headstamp, a bit over 150 pieces. I'll ship it to you small flat rate on me as a pay it forward, be patient I work all week. I think it's a bit over 150 pieces left.
  3. It's in the packing. I will ship to you flat rate, I'll pay, if you make a 25 dollar donation to St Judes Children's Hospital. That's a 35 dollar value for a 25 dollar tax deductible charitable donation. LMK? Can send photos if you reach out to me.
  4. These are all in burnt bronze and the grip module has some nice stippling. The mag release is installed as well. I don't know if it's factory or after market as I bought it just for the FCU. I can send pictures if you contact me. I will send this all to you small flat rate, on me, if you make a $20 donation to St Judes Children's Hospital.
  5. @Shockerabsurd for FA 50 AE DE (lots of caps and I'm not yelling) is probably the best description.
  6. I’m curious, how would one interpret this? Semi-automatic version of an automatic firearm There is no automatic version of this firearm.
  7. Because the magazine is in the grip it’s not regulated like an AR pistol is or any pistol where the mag attaches other than into the grip. I don’t how you’d thread the barrel one but it would be legal. NJ frequently blusters about banning .50 cal firearms and it is yet to pass. If it does you can lose it in a boating accident, store it or move out of state, sell it to someone in a freer state. I sold mine and miss it. Prob get another.
  8. It says Union County so I would say no. The original is in Randolph.
  9. For those of you who live in or very familiar with the Charleston area and would be kind enough to speak with me, please PM and I’ll send my phone number. The more research I’m doing the more enamored I’m becoming with the area. It’s in a great spot and easier for me to travel the country from there. I plan on taking a trip, gonna drive so I can take my time, over the next few weeks. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to have a chat with me. I promise I’m a good neighbor, decent stack of toys and I’m good at sharing.
  10. I don’t wear a mask, if you need me to I won’t patronize you business. I totally respect your business your rules BTW.
  11. I’ve not been to Charleston. It looks very nice and always ranks among best places to live in news surveys.
  12. Then the world is your oyster. Florida public schools have some slim pickins’ but there are some good spots, generally more suburban type living. There’s plenty of places from Callahan all across RT 10 going west where you can have tons of land. The further you are from a beach generally cheaper, but also more space.
  13. NJ tax exemption is up to 100k. If you make 1 dollar over that you pay in the entire income amount. Some of the nicest places in FL pay pretty property taxes. My place on Amelia Island costs me about 18k in prop taxes, it’s a big house with good land but it’s still good dough. I don’t know what Marco Island is gonna cost me but I’m starting research as the project is beginning. .
  14. Depends, do you need to send kids to school? If so Yulee is ok and you can find some spots with big acreage. You can also go further out to Callahan and get plenty of space. This will keep you close to Jax. There may be some spots west if Jax that I am not familiar with.
  15. My wife never had issues pumping her own gas but now she drives a Taycan and it’s electric. Pretty convenient to just plug it when in the garage.
  16. Ocala is mostly know for it’s traffic and proximity to Orlando. It is nice though.
  17. Everything down there is tough. They’re building like crazy and using non-local crews can be a challenge. Good luck with the renovations. Maybe I’ll catch you over at the Snook.
  18. It would be tough. Amelia Island has such natural beauty and it’s seasonal, although 80 today. There isn’t as much to do there but it’s peaceful and a reasonable drive to Jax, 40 mins, St Augustine, ~1 hour. I’ve been there for a while but in 17 I acquired some additional land and had the opportunity to build a really nice home about 3/4 of mile on the beach from the Ritz Carlton. Marco Island is a bit more manicured and planned looking. I lucked out and bought land so long ago that it was dirt cheap for a large lot, like 60 grand cheap. I have deep water access on Barfield Bay and an amazing view south towards Key West. Miami is under 2 hours on route 41 and Tampa less than 3 on I75. We are also less than 20 minutes to 5th Ave in Naples which has great restaurants and for the wife great shopping. It’s tropical so much warmer winter temps, like swimming in the Gulf in Feb temps. I kind of prefer the no winter my wife not so much. I’d consider Naples and it’s suburbs as more of an international type city rather than quiet enclave in Amelia Island. There is no shortage of activities restaurants, bars, nature preserves, fishing plays, concerts. I’d probably choose Marco if I went full time because of all the activities. It makes me miss home, Nj, less because of that. On Amelia sometimes I feel like I’m in god’s waiting room counting down my days. My oldest is married and probably only a year or two away from starting her family. My wife would’ve bagged out of NJ in 15 when I finished my first house in FL but the realties of being an airplane grandma are setting in causing her to reconsider. She also really like the Rumson area, especially Red Bank and the fact we can walk to the beach here. If we were Grandparents and could only select one of the three it may end up being NJ just because of my kids. Yes it’ll cost me more and my gun rights are abridged but my kids are, well, my kids and I don’t really care about anything else. I think fortunately I’ll in realty sell one of the two in FL and it’ll be Amelia Island. Marco is a more attractive spot for my kids to visit and the winter weather would be attentive to them. Moreover, oddly, flying in and out of Ft Meyers (SWFL Int’l) is easier and has many more choices. Sorry this is definitely stream of thought and meandering. TL;DR tough choice but most likely sell Amelia Island. It’s tough. As I said in my earlier post my wife’s preference is FL but the notion of kids having kids gives her pause. There’s still a strong chance when I retire completely, work a light schedule, we’d go. It’s really up to her.
  19. I don't necessarily, but I get concerned when I don't have any details about a circumstance and make snap decisions which I felt that's what I did. Not a huge deal I just wanted to be considerate of the gravity Cheflife's situation.
  20. Yes I would hope that's the case but didn't want to be responsible for separating someone from the hard earned cash!
  21. Easy, I posted what I believed best and gave some thoughts. Then realized I'm in no position to advise someone because that's not what I do, and I don't know anything about his situation. The original post also said take this advice for what you paid for it and seek the help of a professional advisor. After ruminating on it for a bit I though the only reasonable bit was to ask a pro for help. My second post explained why I retracted my thoughts.
