  2. I’d like to join CJRPC and just got my FPID so I’m guessing I can email my application now.
  3. Sorry to read this. However, I’m sure it’s the right decision.
  4. Thanks, I look it over. Appreciate the tip.
  5. Yeah you've really shown patience.
  6. Yes a study of origin not just where the crime occurred is important. Think of the crime at short hills mall for example. The famous car jacking was Irvington residents. outside of gang related activities I think some of it desperation as well. Finally I’d like to get before Murphy’s gun law package and post gun crime stats. We all know nothing has changed thus the uselessness of burdening non-criminals with ridiculous restrictions.
  7. @Mrs. Peel I built a spreadsheet a few years ago that looked at the shootings in the NJ cities vs % population. It’s stunning. The 5 towns (Newark, Paterson, Trenton, Jersey City, Camden) comprise 9.5% of the population but are responsible for 67.12% of shooting incidents, 62% of shooting murders and 69.58% shooting victims. This is probably 4 or 5 years old but I’d guess it hasn’t improved.
  8. The IWB? Not the one I have. The belly band will fit it.
  9. The CF IWB is great. Don’t get a belly band either.
  10. Yes the fees are very Jim Crow like preventing lower income people from enjoying their constitutional right.
  11. I have carbon fiber IWB, a belly band that I love for athletic wear, a pocket sticky (my favorite but no light. https://www.ndzperformance.com/Bad-Bones-Tactical-Sig-P365-Spartan-Carbon-Fiber-p/bbt-iwb-sig-p365-spar-cf.htm https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071WV1HVC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0741RQZFB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this pocket sticky is great with jeans and pants I use it a lot The belly band I’ll sometimes use a G19 or if I’m feeling nostalgic 1911 cocked and locked carry
  12. I have the TLR-6 based a recommendation from a sheriff’s officer I’ve hit the range in FL. No regrets whatsoever.
  13. Yes they cannot find it. That's why the one guy said give me a few days or I'll just make you one. It seems silly change of address or replacement takes the same path as initial. Actually the entire thing is just stupid.
  14. This what the email said, perhaps I'm confused: Your application for a New Jersey Firearm Purchaser Identification Card and/or Permit to Purchase a Handgun(s) has been approved by the issuing authority. The physical card/permit must be obtained at your issuing police department (as indicated on your application). Please be aware that to obtain this card/permit you must bring proof of identity (Picture ID with Name and Date of Birth) to the issuing police department.
  15. I have an email from the state telling me that they finished on August 2nd. I firmly think they'll get it done. I spoke to the patrolman in charge and he said call him tomorrow and if he doesn't have it he'll make one. He sees it's approved. They're actually good guys and don't want to go after them. I've had a reasonably good run in this life and have committed what I feel good about to St Judes Children's hospital for the rest of my life and into death. Now I wanna use some of it to liberate my people here.
  16. I know as part of the 2018 package of, ridiculous, gun laws the reporting of gun crimes was a part of the "pledge" from Governor Interloper. I reviewed the PPTs posted to the NJ SP website but they data isn't useful for anything other than counting. There is no details whatsoever to do any analysis on the information. I will start searching but will also ask here if there is a better source of gun crime in NJ that provides details?
  17. I decided to do an address change on my FPID since I am going to splitting time here. The only reason I'm doing so is that I can go to a shooting range. I find it odd that something that has the word purchaser in it is required to go shooting these days. I really feel it's an impediment to getting people to try the shooting sport put in place by the very people, us, that want more people involved. I guess I'll chalk it up to "their range, their rules" however dumb I find it to be. Nonetheless I applied through the NJ Portal for an address change on April 4th, 2020. It's been now 5 months and still no FPID. It's just ridiculous and I have to say the Rumson PD has been very pleasant to deal with even though I'm not getting what I want. I thought this process was supposed to be capped at 30 days? I also find it ridiculous that when applying you can choose: Initial, Change of Address, Replacement but it doesn't matter it's all the same stupid process other than the finger printing requirement. Honestly for a change or replacement you should just go down and have them type you up a new one but good 'ol NJ. I may speak to the mayor but how have other folks gotten around this? I hate to get litigious but I'm at the point where, while I'm only here part time, I'm gonna start using some of my hard earned cash, well libs don't think I earned it, to throw behind pretty much any reasonable NJ 2a related lawsuit. I'm also going to have a couple data scientists that work for me do a study on crime rates pre and post mag capacity reduction to scientifically flush out what we already no--it didn't do anything.
  18. Is there a specific place to donate for this one or just send some money to ANJRPC?
