Thanks for the info everyone. Ottomanelli's has some in stock and I'm going to try to get up there this weekend. They wouldn't give me price over the phone. Anyone ever deal with them before - how is their service and pricing? Had one in my hands a month before Sandy Hook it was around 1300 and I'm kicking myself for not purchasing it...I'm sure I will have to pay more now but I'm not going to spend much more and don't want to waste my time driving up there if they are crazy expensive.

I've wanted a Sig 516 for awhile and for over a year all local gun shops have said NJ compliant rifles aren't available through their distributors. How do ago about shipping a non-compliant rifle to NJ and have it neutered? Who will do it? Thanks, Rich

Thanks for the response. I'm not going to be ordering a CA gun, after some additional reading the stock is adjustable and it's equipped with a flash suppressor. I didn't realize that was legal in CA.

I found a California compliant Sig 516 online and I believe the only additional feature California requires that NJ doesn't is a "bullet Button" to release the magazine. If I buy this gun -- Can it easily be converted back to standard magazine release? Other then coming with a 10 round mag is there anything else I should know about a California complaint gun? The light is great and I don't have the ultra. Only got to use mine once at the range it was empty so they let us turn off the lights for a minute. When I turn off all the lights at home and turn on the X300 my dog goes bananas which in turn makes my wife go crazy so I don't use it often. I saw a picture of the HK45 tactical and it does look awesome.

I bought a six shell side saddle for my 870 and had issues with the install. The chicago screw would not tap through so I emailed them Saturday evening and they responded Sunday morning with an easy fix. I also marred up the chicago screw a bit trying to get it through and they sent me new hardware. Just wanted to share what I thought was very good service!

Nice! I have a X300 on my HK45. This thread is killing me. I just submitted the papework for 3 permits and I was all set to get a Glock, CZ and maybe a revolver but now I just want to get more HKs.

I like your style and do you really love the lamp or are you just saying it because you saw it? Thanks for the suggestions. I cant believe I didn't think to include a 1911 in there...will also consider the PX4, M&P as well as some of the revolvers and 22s mentioned. This isn't going to be easy.

I just submitted 3 pistol permits to my local PD so I have some time to mull it over. Currently, my only handgun is a HK45 and I love everything about it but I don't want to be a HK fanboy and go buy a P30 and USP, I'm looking for some diversity. I rent something everytime I go to the range and have shot numerous guns belonging to friends but it is still so difficult to decide. I'm a lefty shooter so ambi controls are a big plus... 1st permit 9mm 1st choice: Glock 19 In the running: Walther PPQ, 92SF, XD, P30 2nd permit 22lr 1st choice: Walther PPK --Thats all I got. Never shot a 22 before but I always liked the PPK. What are some other option?. 3rd permit ??? something fun and differnent S&W 500, FN Five-seven, Desert Eagle, something 10mm, saturday night special What do you guys think?

I'm looking to put them on my HK45. Currently my only pistol but hopefully not for much longer. It stays in a biometric safe next to my bed and takes many trips to the range. I'm looking to add a Glock 19 to reduce my cost of ammo, I typically go through $100-150 in ammo every trip to the range. When I get the Glock it will relegate the HK mainly to my HD weapon.

Anyone have experience with their newer HD sights? Trying to decide between the HDs and their bright & tough sights. Thanks

They look like a lot of fun, to bad we can't get them in NJ. My buddy in Georgia has one that he converted to a SBR and he likes it. Thanks for the responses.
