  1. that works if the issue is software related, but not if it's bios or hardware
  2. a boot loop is when your PC tries to restart over and over, You can usually tell by the behavior of your fans and LEDs, if you have any. They will keep turning on and off. Also, if you are getting a splash screen then your GPU is working. The main job of your GPU is to send a signal to your monitor. The fact that you are seeing a splash screen means that signal is coming through. If you can't get into your bios then the bios could be corrupt. Do you have a bios flashback capability or a dual bios on your MB?
  3. Can you tell if it's boot looping? like others have mentioned try getting into your bios. Another option you can try is resetting your cmos. If the PC is 5 years old think about changing your cmos battery. do you know which specific CPU? just because the MB supports on board video doesn't mean the CPU has it.
  4. removing the GPU won't help him if he does not have on board video. If it's an intel CPU then most likely it will have on board video. If it's an AMD then most likely there is no on board video. It's also possible that there is no discrete GPU and he is only using on board video
  5. Do you have a code readout or debug lights on the MB?
  6. EXPS3-0 - SOLD 552 - Still Available
  7. I have 2 eotechs that I originally bought 10 years ago from Brick Armory, yes, that Brick Armory. They have been safe queens for the last 5 years and I have been contemplating selling them for that long. I finally decided to pull the trigger since I have not used them for a very long time and have pretty much switched to the Sparc AR for all my ARs. They are both in good working order even though there is some cosmetic damage. asking for $350. I am willing to negotiate. I added a few picks below but I can provide more pics if necessary. If you want to meet to inspect them, that can be arranged. first "I'll take it" wins. EXPS3-0 - SOLD 552 - SOLD
  8. removed sold items to make it easier to read
  9. I'm not willing to spend $1,700 on something that might help me when I'm woodworking but won't help me when I'm in the garage for something else. I can't wear this thing every time I walk into the garage. i'm not going to turn myself into a bubble boy for a hobby, lol. I have and exhaust, I have adequate dust collection, nothing is working 100%. Optometrist gave me RX drops which helped, but they are for temporary relief only, can't use them all the time. To be honest, this is just a hobby, not a job, it doesn't put food on the table. And now that I know that this has been the cause of all my issues, it's not worth pursuing, at least not for me. Maybe now I'll have more time and money for my favorite hobbies, guns and archery
  10. I did have a rash all over my hands a few years ago after cutting up 10 sheets of ply when I was building my closet. But I didn't think much of it and just started wearing gloves and it went away. The issue with my eyes, I think, is fine dust in general. With my workshop being in my garage, I walk thru it multiple times a day even when I'm not woodworking. And every time I open the garage door all the settled sawdust goes airborne and gets into my eyes. That is the theory anyway. But I do know that this problem started around the same time I started woodworking. Edit: I think what actually happened this last time is when I took the mask off, all the dust that was settled on the mask went into my eyes.
  11. Great, thanks. I will put up a WTS thread just as soon as I can figure out how much everything is worth. I figured I'd offer it to this community before I post on lumberjocks
  12. Unfortunately I don't think even that would work. It appears that even the saw dust covering everything in my garage (my workshop) causes me issue. I actually just proved my theory. 4 hours sanding with a 3M 6800 on, next morning I could barely keep my eyes open. Went to the optometrist and got rx allergy drops, all better after 3 days. Looks like I have no choice
  13. NO, not shooting... what am I crazy? It appears however, that I might need to give up woodworking. Found out the other day that problems I have been experiencing with my eyes over the last few years where all due to severe allergies to saw dust. I am trying to find solutions, a full face mask does not help. But I might end up having to sell all my woodworking tools, such as band saw, planer, contractor saw, sliding miter saw, routers, sanders, hand planes, circular saws, clamps, etc.... If anyone is interested let me know, and if I do end up selling, I will post a WTS thread. The tools I have are only 3 to 4 years old and some of them were not cheap.
  14. I just got back from the range, put 250+ rounds of my 115gr reloads thru the new P30SK, not a single failure. I believe the P30SK and VP9SK share a similar dual recoil spring design. So either your springs were a bit too stiff, or my reloads were a little hot. Which is quite possible since I worked them up for the VP9.
  15. I just don't have too many friends who are 2A friendly, but plenty family members who are.
  16. Anyone have experience with buds gun shop, using ACH transfer?
  17. So has anyone confirmed whether or not we can use family members as references?
  18. So you are saying that the use of a wml makes tritium sights useless in low light since they are washed out? If that is the case then I see no reason to upgrade. Thanks. so do you suggest practicing with some tape on the dots to simulate a silhouetted sight for low light shooting?
  19. a wml lets me see a silhouette of the sights, but not the front dot.
  20. I'm fine with my sights for day shooting. I have the same sights on my VP9 and I like them. What I was thinking about is I had to use it for low light situations. The stock sights are photoluminescent, meaning you have to "charge" them with an external light source to get them to glow in the dark. In a self defense scenario, "charging" the sights will be impossible.
  21. so no one has any opinions for best sights for carry guns?
  22. I would like everyone's opinion on best sights for carry guns. Standard white dot? Tritium same color? Tritium different colors? fiber optic? etc... Thinking about changing the sights on my P30SK from the factory illuminated sights. I'm thinking that in a self defense situation I won't have time to charge the factory sights
  23. Press is sold, but I have other items you might be interested in
