  1. I ordered one from DSG...have yet to receive it.
  2. Pretty awesome. I have an MK114 mod 1 for sale in hoboken BTW...PM me if interested.
  3. Can you use this method on the mgapul STR stock as well? Thanks
  4. Get what you want, what you can afford considering ammo, training, cleaning supplies, mags, optics etc...At the end of the day the platform will matter much less than the shooter. I personally prefer the AR. I think there are some minimual but tangable tactical advatanges in ergonomics, accuracy and upgradability (is that word;-) That said, I'll take a guy at my back who knows how to run a mini-14 over some chump with the swetest AR ever and has little idea how to use it any day. People focus so much on hardware. Its really so much less important that platform knowledge and skills. Every gun has strengths and weakness. Learn them and how to use them. the mini 14 is a fine platform and so much less hassle then a "black rifle". Amurr
  5. Or another very sexy option that makes a NJ complaint version Larue PredatAR......another nice deal for the money....light weight and accurate
  6. PWS MK114 is about is light as is gets in piston and they attach their PWS FSC556 muzzle break whihc is one of the better breaks on the market. Also, I have contacted them and they are happy to make a NJ compliant version, have excellent customer service and seem to get very good reviews. There is an excellent MK114 review on snipershide.com. That being said, I agree with the other guys. If you want light weight i would get a lightwieght BCM barrel with a perm attach battlecomp 1.5 which i personally think is the best muzzle break you can get in NJ as it has excellent muzzle control and much reduced concussion compared to other muzzle breaks . Check out G&R tactical or BCM direclty. Another good option would be hte new rainer arms RUC carbine which has a light weight option and comes with their XTC muzzle break check this out: http://www.rainierar...product_id=2888 This is alot of gun for he money, nice trigger, fixed MB, ust pin the stock and go!!!
  7. But these require me to swap out the tube correct? same springs and buffer but new tube. I guess I am asking in there any drop and go fixed stock which will fit directly on to a standard m4 extension tube?
  8. Thanks, Just curious if there is something that will not require either: A. Pin Job B. A1/A2 receiver extension Thanks guys
