  1. There is no “standard magazine law” for manual action/non-SA Guns. Ten round mag limits only apply to magazines that fit in a semi-auto firearm. 2C:39-1 Definitions: y. "Large capacity ammunition magazine" means a box, drum, tube or other container which is capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition to be fed continuously and directly therefrom into a semi-automatic firearm.
  2. Where is this written in NJ statute? I’ve never seen it.
  3. Every bolt-on accessory (optic, light, BUIS. sling mount, grip, etc…) on a firearm should get blue loc-tite and witness marks. Do not use washers unless they are recommended by the manufacturer of the accessory.
  4. He does not. He did my G19, and it’s awesome, but he doesn’t have the time anymore. He is the person that recommended M&M to me and as far as I know, Joe uses M&M himself.
  5. M&M Tactical in Bayville, NJ I haven’t used them personally, but I hear they are top notch.
  6. I like the Head brand running gloves they sell at Costco. (Amazon and Walmart carry them too I think). They aren’t snow gloves and I wouldn’t wear them up Everest, but they are warm enough to wear around town walking around and are thin enough to disappear in your jacket pocket when you don’t need them. They are pretty low cost, fit tight and slim and do not add too much to your grip when you grab your gun. They also work great as a glove liner, where you can get a bigger insulated glove or mitten from another brand to layer over top if you are snowboarding or ice climbing. They also have smart phone functional fingers, which is a plus in this day and age.
  7. Throw it over the berm! ETA - In all seriousness, JJ knows his stuff - he used to shoot with a bunch of us in Old Bridge at the Steel Comps before he went and it famous. If he says it, I believe it works safely.
  8. The millions listed is for the purchase AND the development of whatever training center they are turning it in to.
  9. Looks like Ocean County just arranged to purchase a range in Little Egg Harbor Twp to turn into a training facility. I’m guessing it’s Shooters.
  10. Get the regular EPS. It comes with a plate for adapting it to then RMR Footprint.
  11. I’ve used Maple Leaf multiple times. They are excellent.
  12. the SCS is lower on an MOS Glock because it doesn’t require a plate. It also has a smaller window and no battery. It has a niche role, but I think for your purposes. There are better options. Given that - my “A” answer would be to get the slide milled at Maple Leaf Firearms for a Holosun 509T. My second choice would be a Brownell’s slide and a Holosun 407c (or EPS if you want enclosed). https://www.brownells.com/gun-parts/handgun-parts/handgun-slides-parts/rmr-cut-slide-for-glock~-26/ You can use standard height sights with the Brownell’s slide, so you don’t need suppressor height BUIS. The millwork at MLF is about the same price as the new slide from Brownell’s (under $200) so it’s a wash. Done!
  13. I would do option 1 or 5. If you want to stay with a G26 sized gun go option one. Couple of questions to think about? • Why specifically an SCS? I would have it milled directly for an EPS carry or a 509T, not an SCS. The only benefit to an SCS is it fits in an MOS cut. If your having it milled, you can use any optic. If you have the option, pick something enclosed for a carry. • Why irons in front of optic? Maple Leaf Forearms ( https://www.mapleleaffirearms.com ) does great work if you are going milled. Quality work done affordable and fast If you want to go with a slightly bigger frame, and the ability to add a light, I’d go option 5 with the following knowledge: Option 5 has a couple hiccups you’d need to overcome: • You’d need to get a 43XMOS (there is no 43mos) 43x has a grip length equal to a G19, not a G26, only it is single Stack so it is about 30% slimmer. • The SCS won’t fit on the slim frame Glock correctly. It will hang over the edges. You’d need a 407K, a 507K, or an EPS Carry (EPS carry being the better choice) • the 43XMOS has a light rail so you can add a TLR7a sub.
  14. I’m 50/50 on next weekend. I’ll chime in as we get closer.
  15. I’m packed and ready to go. I’ll check the Wx when I get up. If it’s decent, I’ll drive out.
  16. Got ‘em! Found who’s going to throw our clays guys! Hope you shoulder is up to the task! ETA: Every time I have been to a NJGF Clay Shoot, there has been multiple electric throwers.
  17. There will be plenty of people there to help carry stuff. Everyone is always super helpful. You won’t have any issues finding those eager to carry stuff, move stuff, shoot stuff, and talk good-natured shit!
