  1. The old Sportsmen’s Center on Rt 130 Bordentown NJ has safes, at least they did last time I was there. I say the old Sportsmen’s center because they use to have the entire property but it appears its sub divided now. I went in there to purchase a Henry Lever action and noticed they had a bunch of safes, that was a few years ago. If you're interested call them first to make sure they are up and running. when I was there it appeared to be a one man operation https://www.henryusa.com/dealer-location/sportsmens-center/
Totally agree with prior post, great staff & range, I just wish it was closer so I could join. Their ventilation systems works great, I’ve been in other indoor ranges that there are ongoing issues with their ventilation so don’t take that for granted when you go in GFH and you could breathe normally with 20 people firing at once. I used GFH for the cc qualifications and assistance with finger prints for renewing a non-resident conceal permit and NO issues. Looking forward to trying one of their classes when time permits, plus they have cool hats...

  6. As per your GFH instructor that document was given to you as a FYI only. GFH didn’t say that document was to accompany your application. The link below instructs you want to turn in with your application, they need no more and no less.... https://www.nj.gov/oag/njsp/firearms/pdf/Permit_To_Carry_Instructions.pdf

  12. nice, everyone on this board should apply for three permits and buy three Smith & Wesson products
  13. it’s basically just a reference number the local PD creates. Our PD uses the last name and birthday, something like smith042869. snappy456’s PD was opposite of ours, I didn’t get the reference # until I turned in the paperwork.

  16. Nichelle Nichols, Lt. Uhura on ‘Star Trek,’ has died at 89 Relatives say Sunday that Nichelle Nichols, who broke ground for Black women acting on television as the beautiful, no-nonsense communications officer Lt. Nyota Uhura on the original “Star Trek” TV series, has died at the age of 89 https://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wireStory/nichelle-nichols-lt-uhura-star-trek-died-89-87714729
  17. That could be the case, it may have sounded and been too weak to hear from a distance or it was simply ignored. I'll go with the original assumption, either the alarm system was compromised or it was never connected for monitoring
  18. I don’t know that shop but if they had neighbors I would think they’d hear the siren? Just seems from the info in the news link there was a huge gap in time. There was a NY based thief ring hitting a nearby area a while back. They kicked the door in on a relative’s house and must have knew the local PD response time. They had telco alarm monitoring but their service was underground so there was no attempt to disable it but that didn’t stop from going it. IIRC that was around 11:00AM, both husband and wife were at work. They got some jewelry and other personal property but firearms were locked in a safe. So with the alarm sending it codes to the CS and the siren blasting they were in & out quickly. They knew it was a NY crew because an hour after the robbery their CC's were being used and maxed out in NY. I heard that group (or group with the same M.O.) came back a couple weeks later and did another home on the same street and got a big payday because there was no alarm. Obviously who ever targeted the gun store knew exactly what they wanted. I hope I’m wrong and off topic but I’m thinking with all the illegals coming in it just a matter of time before we see a spike in residential B&E’s.
