Remember, you can access the course material any time leading up to your Field Day. Next Steps: Print your Field Day Voucher Book your Field Day Print this document to see what you need to bring to the Field Day I just clicked on the print your field day voucher, and it saved a pdf copy of the voucher to my computer.
  2. From the NJDEP Site: Field sessions and exams are offered at at least one location throughout New Jersey every weekend (excluding holiday weekends) beginning in March through November (except July when only weekday classes are held). Sessions are also held on several weekdays throughout the year for added convenience. FYI: Most testing sites/dates allow walk ons. Not all people show up for the test. Out of about 100 people at mine, 80 showed and had about 10 walk ons. I have never heard of them turning anyone away, unless you don't have your paperwork in order.
  3. +100 Was a great day. Plate rack was a nice curveball.
  4. Anybody know of test this weekend for rifle ? I took my shotgun and bow at Colliers Mills at the expo, and they did not have the rifle available. Thinking maybe I can do a walk on this weekend. Signup website has removed this weekend locations. Thanks.
  5. CJRPC is always an option. Low ready is never a problem. I just started last year shooting steel and was flustered, I slowed down and learned a lot from the experienced guys there. Always have a blast! Now that summer is over, I can make CJ in about 1hr from where I am, which is close to you. Not so much a problem in the morning but later in the day traffic is a bit more coming home.
  6. It was listed. Usually when the test is full and its close to the date they pull it off the site. It starts at 8am, shotgun and bow only. The testing is sat and sun.
  7. Yea I signed up when they had some openings. https://www.nj.wildlifelicense.com/ALS/course/course_report.php They do take walk ons also. Usually won't turn anyone away, so i hear. I went last year to the expo and it was great.
  8. Talking mine at the NJ Expo this weekend at Colliers Mills.
  9. Probably all cuddling up in the center of the room right about now..... Welcome guys!
  10. You will be there for a while.... LOL..
  11. About time lol. Welcome to da club...
  12. There has not been a limit on select rifle ammo for a while from cableas...
  13. I follow Christie on twitter, and he replied to tweet from someone, that he is having the AG look into the situation. Governor Christie ‏@GovChristie2h I agree. Already asked the AG to look into the incident. @GPollowitz: the idea that a veteran was kicked off a NJ boardwalk is a big deal
  14. Maybe someone close by can do it for you, evenings can get a bit crazy with traffic. Especially on the weekends, if your coming from Bayonne.
  15. Stag just started using this new version diamond handguard, seen it at the oaks show today. Very slim and light. Has groves for your fingers, felt very comfortable. http://www.stagarms.com/diamondhead-v-rs-drop-in-handguard/
  16. I saw that one, almost pulled the trigger, was a good price. Enjoy!
  17. I went, ammo was present. People had some 22lr, but was about $50-$70 a brick, (I didn't see anyone buying any) depending on kind. There was plenty of 9mm, 223/556, 40, 45, prices were high, but it seems to be the norm all over now. Lots of AR's even jersey ones. Big line at opening "IN" the building at the re-loading guy in the corner. 10rd PMAG's going for $30-$50 at the same tables the 30rd were like $18 LOL. Tried to haggle for a few things, some just for $5 and got the flat out NO, so i moved along. Same old crap though. 1 guy did have a new Tavor priced for $1950, was a pretty nice rifle. Saw a Sub2000 in 9mm/Glock Mag for $599, and 10/22's were all over the scale from $250's to $399. Lots of people buying guns, a lot of the better tables were pretty full running PICS.
  18. Ramsey's guns was always $30-$50 cheaper than Meltzers. They were also about the same as Casos' even with the 3.5% tax. The difference is not really a deal breaker, especially if they have it and i have a PP ready to go. Could easily spend that on gas etc...
  19. Ramsey Outdoor "in" Ramsey has handguns & long guns. The store in Paramus is now closed. They had limited handguns. There is always Meltzers in Garfield. Caso's in Jersey City is always good to me, only 3.5% Tax there.
  20. Yep, Was about $100 back in July...LOL
