  1. I was kind of lucky in a way. I was injured at work last July. My shooting days were at the time over but my shopping for a good deal continued till things went crazy in December. I still shop for a good deal and won't spend no more than 16 bucks a box of 50 for 9mm and .22lr is almost impossible to find at a good price but 20 to 30 bucks for 525 rounds is the limit. I went back to work on light duty this past February sitting in front of a computer. Now my new friend is gunbot.com and have time to keep an eye out for the good deal while i work . It has worked out well for me and some shooters at work also. I'll buy when price is low and get what ever the limit the seller has and share with my co-workers at the price the ammo is purchased at. The one thing we won't do is pay the crazy amounts of money others are asking for so can my friends and i be called "ammo hoarders"? I don't know. I don't think so. If the people would stop paying the crazy prices retailers should have to lower the prices to get rid of the ammo. As stated in another post many new firearms owners that did not know a box of 9 was $10 a box of before and are the suckers paying the crazy prices.
  2. Is there any paper work involved? i asked him for he is older and owned firearms for a long time and he said there is no transfer paper involved. Is this correct?
  3. Got mine in a week from psa. I sent an email with my fid and then called the next day to make sure they got it o.k. I waited a bit on the phone but when I got through they were kind and helpful. They packaged the ammo well in bubble wrap and then paper bag.
  4. I have been able to score a couple thousand rounds the past month and split it up with coworkers that were in need at the price I bought it at. I have been able to top both my ammo cans with 9mm. What I do is I keep an eye on a site called gunbot. It puts up when available, how much per round and box. What I did was made accounts with the sites that post up the cheapest ammo so when a good deal comes up all I do is click the link, add the qty wanted then sign in and complete sale. You have to be fast because ammo sells out in minutes and website's get hit hard so they slow down. I have been able to get 9mm as low as $14.99. Not the best price but better than 20 to 30 dollars. Good luck all. O_C_D
  5. I feel the same way. Bounce let N.Y. Let N.Y. Loose that overly tax company's cash.
  6. A lil pricy for me but for those that are low here you go. They have 100, 250, and 500 round boxes. Good luck Note these are jhp http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/250-rounds-federal-9mm-147-grain-jhp-ammo.aspx?a=1034003 http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/500-rounds-federal-9mm-147-grain-jhp-ammo.aspx?a=1034003 Never mind. 10. this has also upset me. they were a good deal back then and i have bought thousands from them, i've watched there pricing go up 3 dollars over night on just there blaster rounds and now with shipping they coast the same as dicks when dicks has remington 9 on sale. good thing im stocked up on ammo before all this crazyness, i dont need to look for a deal
