This isn't unusual at all, as some of us have sadly come to find out. what makes it worse is hearing all the excuses and KNOWING it's total bullshit. that's always a spirited debate.. there are lots of folks who will turn their noses up at del-ton, but I also know experienced, knowledgeable guys who'll swear by them. I ended up using BCM uppers for my builds, because for not too much more, they're a manufacturer who has a outstanding reputation. I've owned a DTI upper, and can say the fit and finish was pretty damn good for what it cost. The real difference is in the details though, features like high pressure testing magnetic particle testing..the types of steel used in the bolt etcetera..

figured I'd throw in a little cautionary post in case anyone was in a hurry. Thanks for putting this up, it really is a good deal

DTI does have great deals, I've had bad experiences with items advertised as "in stock" actually being on indefinite back order.
