I have a friend (no really, a friend, not me) who is thinking about taking his NJ compliant AR to a range in NY. I haven't finished reading the NY SAFE legislation..... My opinion is that this is a bad idea Am I wrong ?

For LEOs I strongly believe it should be any on or off duty weapons. *disclosure: I am not an LEO, and no I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night so I can't pretend to be one. I also heard on the radio that retired LEOs may also be included in the excemption. I also support this. As far as "more equal", most citizens have not locked up people that might hold a grudge against them. Just sayin' Flame on
