This. There is nothing firearms specific on a NICS check other then circling either long gun or handgun. If a NICS was submitted for a rifle you cannot add a handgun to it and vice versa.

Those who voluntarily allow the cops to unload their firearm are not carrying, but there are plenty of people who choose to not be disarmed so instead just walk through and say nothing. There are no pat-downs or metal detectors, they only know you are CC-ing if you tell them. Back on topic. Finnish Mosins are thought to be the most accurate out of all the makers of Mosins. And also some of the nicest wood coloring/grain, IMO. Look forward to seeing pictures of the markings.
