  1. Well you learned two lessons today: If it seems to good to be true, it probably is. Read the description on what it is you are buying before you bid.

I immediately thought of Joe Dirt.
  3. Pistol grip with collapsible stock, pistol grip with no stock, fixed stock no pistol grip it all depends on what is most comfortable to you. Some people don't like the 870 because the safety is hard to work in some positions from what I have heard. I believe the safety is on the top of the gun and if you have smaller hands makes it difficult to reach.
  4. Flag is clearly upside down. Unless it is being used as a sign of distress this hurts my ocd so bad.

This seems like an odd thread for such a dramatic post. Not so odd now that the post was moved to a new thread.
  6. None of my references letters had to be notarized, nor any of the ones I have filled out for friends in Bergen or Hudson County. This is not a new rule just one being made up police departments and chiefs who want to make it as hard as possible for civilians to own guns. Don't get it notarized contact NJ2AS or NJSP either one should be able tell local leos that they aren't allowed to make up new rules.
  7. I have not heard any new news making this a requirement, it's probably just the city or chief making up their own rules.
  8. I've never ridden a jetski but I've crashed a motorcycle or two. Is the rip cord attached to the handlebars or something? Because manually pulling a rip cord well your high-siding would be damn near impossible.
  9. Bumping. Someones gotta be interested in buying the last 5, Mosin Nagants are only going up in value. The days of <$100 Mosins are long gone.
  10. Legal to own, illegal to build into a functional firearm receiver in NJ.
  11. We're down a man. Anyone else interested in jumping in for 5 Mosins?
  12. I called Sarco today about doing a PA to NJ resident transfer, they said no problem. I don't see why they wouldn't accept a transfer from GB. Give them a call.
  13. My buddy sent me the application awhile ago, after we talked about it. Working in the most dangerous city in America kind of intrigued me. I read through the application(which was like 40 pages) and I got to the firearms section. Do you have an FPID, why do you have an FPID, do you have a CCW, why do you have a CCW, list all firearms owned, etc. That stopped me dead in my tracks, seemed way to invasive IMO.
  14. [citation needed] I have seen a hand full of shops make up this rule, but I have never seen it written in any law book.
  15. Okay cool. Like I said I will talk to Rick on Saturday, to verify he has no problem accepting a crate of Mosins. I will pm those involved in the deal, and we can figure out money and what not. As of now pending conversations: Johnp=5 Hodgie=5 Frank Rizzo=5 twentynine30s=5
  16. Alright! That is a step in the right direction. I will talk to Rick at OMG on Saturday, and get his opinion on this matter. As of know pending conversations: Johnp=5 Hodgie=5 Frank Rizzo=5 Anyone else willing to bite the bullet and go in for 5? If not maybe (once I talk to Rick) the first 5 people ITT who said they'd take 1, can have one. Just a thought. **ETA: Sorry Bluelinefish I am taking the crate. That is whole reason I've been trying to put a group buy together. lol
  17. Yep there in lies the problem. Not even so much the organizing money who wants what, etc. I don't want to jam up my FFL, this is going to be a big box and a lot of cosmoline, And alot of paperwork for him.
  18. Glad to see there is interest, if we were to try and move the process along we would have to figure out the logistics of it all. If I were in charge of this project, I would have it shipped to my FFL, Rick at OMG. I haven't even discussed this with him yet, but traveling to Bayonne might not be possible for some. Question for all the legal gurus, if I were to purchase a crate by myself, and take possession of all of them. At a later date could I sell off more then half of them? I think technically it's legal, but I think there may be some kind of law about buying with the intent to sell or something like that. It gets very complicated when a bunch of people only want one rifle.
  19. I got an email today that Classic got the crates of Mosin Nagants back in stock. I started a thread a few months ago gauging interest in a group buy and it kind of died out. Well I did some legwork and got a shipping quote from Classic. So I'm going to do a quick price breakdown and get input from others if there is any interest. It would be a lot easier if we could split 20 rifles with the fewest amount of people possible,(ex. 4 people buying 5 rifles etc.) Crate of Mosins=$2500 Shipping charge=$191.11 **Total= $2691.11 Price per rifle=$134.55 http://www.classicfi...le-by-the-crate Thoughts...comments....?
  20. I know I would get a lot of strange looks at the range wearing this thing, but I also feel like it would be very comfortable to wear during the summer.
  21. True Value Hardware in Lincoln Park, it's there.
  22. Better late to the party then never at all. Congrats.
