  2. The process itself is very quick if that helps at all. Took my pics., looked over paperwork, did his notary thing, fingerprinted me. Out the door in 20 mins.
  3. I went through Gun for hire, got everything done by them, and they made sure all my T's were crossed. They also offer firearm training class if you need it. Fingerprints, notary, pics. http://www.gunforhire.com/gun-classes-ccw.html
  4. None, a copy of my DD-214 was all they needed.
  5. Got the letter in the mail today and just had to share my news, 29 days from mailbox to mailbox not bad at all!
  6. buys guns and ammo, build a cabin in the middle of nowhere, Alaska and love life!
  7. Merry Christmas everyone!!! This seems like the proper place to post this. Basically like the title says, I would like to learn gunsmithing and how to persue it as a career. I'm sure that alot of you guys do your own gunsmithing or have thought about doing it as well. I've always been mechanically inclined and enjoyed taking things apart and back together. From the reseach I've done I understand that I'll never be a rich gunsmith, but in my opinion happiness and self fulfillment trumps wealth anyday. Anybody with knowledge in this field I would greatly appreciate any input that you have. Is it best to apprentice under a master gunsmith or go to one of those legitimate gunsmith schools?(Colorado trade, Pittsburg)

  9. That's a good idea, I need to get an incognito rifle case. Sounds like my best bet. I don't have a hitch. PK90, the guy in this photo obviously doesn't give a F. But it just screams hey you pull me over I dare you.
  10. Hey everyone this question has bugged me for awhile now. What is the proper legal protocol for transporting a rifle while riding a motorcycle? My forum search results only turned up transporting a handgun, easy put in one saddlebag, ammo in the other unloaded of course. But if I sling my rifle in it's bag over my shoulder, I forsee dumb scared civillans calling the police and LE pulling me over as soon as they see me. As of now whenever I want to go shooting, I gotta hope my buddy is up for it because I own 2 bikes and no truck. I shoot in PA, so about 1-1/2 hour drive I am bound to run across a few leos. The only thing I can really think of is to call the njsp and tell them I plan to be traveling yadda, yadda. Anybody know if there is a 'proper' way to do this?
  11. Hello everyone, just wanted to be proper and post up an intro. Two things I love using and collecting are motorcycles and guns. You can never have enough of either, lol. I hope to learn a bit more about guns, and meet some like minded individuals in this very anti-gun state.
