  1. I wear GH at work. As long as its rated you should be good.
  2. The exemption would be it is his second residence. it is reddit can't take it to seriously but a possible mock situation to pick apart.
  3. It depends on how far the issue wants to be pushed. Me and my S/O are fighting and I have been crashing at X's place the past few nights could be a reasonable situation. The person who owns the house would have to back you up as well. I'm not saying to do this just that NJ law is ambiguous so were can all freely interpret it our own way. I believe if you have belongings there or a drawer/shelf of personal items that it constitutes residency (not a lawyer please correct me if I am wrong).
  4. While it is not his primary residence as listed on his FPID, he could claim that his parents house is his secondary home making it good to transport his firearm there. As for justifying the shooting, I don't like to Monday morning quarterback on someone else's situation.
  5. ESS makes great safety glass, expensive but do come with a MOLLE case. I wear these for work in goggle and sunglass form. http://www.esseyepro.com/Crossbow_211_category.html You might be able to order just the case if you call them. Their customer service is great for when I had to deal with them. ETA: found a direct link still has the molle backing http://www.esseyepro.com/Eyeshield-Hard-Case_261_detail.html
  6. The argument seems to be since he was charged with possession, he can't actually take physical control of the object due to a medical condition therefor making him not in possession. Pretty flimsy but it could work. I'm not aware of prior case law dealing with possessing objects when you can't. As for everyone else in the car saying its not his. Tough luck, its one person's gun or all four. On the positive side its a felony charge so if it goes to court I'm sure it will get dismissed as one sympathetic juror will go for not guilty based on the medical condition.
  7. I have issues with my glock for failing to go into battery. This occurred on my duty gun as well as my personal. Glock 21 and Glock 30 ETA models
  8. Welcome to the community. You'll find a lot of good info on here.

    Hello!

Welcome to the community. The 10/22 is a great rifle to start out on.
  10. Agreed, plus someone mentioned she didn't renew her apartment lease or something like that.
  11. Welcome to the community! South Jersey has some good ranges, just depends on how far you are willing to drive. South Jersey Shooting Club (Winslow) is nice. I went to USANA once as a guest and it was decent. I've heard great things about Quinton Sportsmen's Club in Salem County and Mullica Hill Rifle and Pistol Club (55 South past the end of it.) I've been to Bob's Little Sport Shop in Glassboro, they have an indoor range that that can get the job done if you only have handguns.
  12. I saw those things before the minimum wage increased in the state. I don't know if they are really related, could be though.
  13. I may go pound the gun to see if it curves the other way. Pretty interesting concept though. Seeing as how it is point and shoot, I could learn to live with the weak hand shooting IF I had to carry it.
  14. Dicks you can order on-line and ship to store for free. When you pick it up they will put it in your truck for you. That's how I did it. Also me and a friend moved the 32+6 gun safe our selves, we had a hand truck do most of the work.
  15. I used the greyed out MSRP prices, though they may have been specific to the store closest to me.
  16. Thanks for the heads up. I forgot Verizon offered that.

  20. I bought one from Dick's, they usually go on sale 2-3 times a year and you can get a pretty decent deal for them. Don't forget if you buy in NJ they are tax free.
  21. I have a Rossi 410 lever action. Its a fun caliber to shoot.
  22. I think Beth is safe for now. I think it was a group around the hospital that escaped from it at one point
  23. I left my handgun in the holster 24/7 for about 5 days to help stretch the leather out. Fits like a glove and snaps close easy now. I'm curious to see what others do though.
  24. I like Levi's, the Roughneck Cabelas brand is decent.
