  1. I would say since the mechanics are different it isn't covered under NJ law and will be one of those gray areas.
  2. Found this today thought it might be helpful here http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HbyI229g_rM/TkXGoI0H2SI/AAAAAAAAAHU/ShKFuJu-Trw/s1600/glock_models.jpg The picture won't embed but it breaks up the glocks by model number and style and caliber, pretty informative graph.
  3. Also interested in the EMT policy #threadhijack Nucrunner, is my cert in for that class I took a few weeks back? #endhijack
  4. I haven't completed a CERT program, but one of my partners I run EMS with did and he liked it a lot, said the training would prove to be pretty useful if anything happens.
  5. The commercials were pretty bad, the only good ones were the Chevy bull commercial, and the Budweiser lab commercial.
  6. I had issues with Yahoo on PCs. I logged out then back in and it worked again
  7. If only we had that thumbs up button still +1 sir
  8. That is a great picture! I need to get my safe looking like that.
  9. I've decided I will wait till I can redbox the movie for a night. I have heard mixed reviews about the movie and the majority of people said the book was much more descriptive (they usually are).
  10. That's great, congrats on your win! Make sure you post pictures when you complete that.
  11. Any other details? I have been thinking about doing this as well.
  12. I would still opt to put in at least 1 tourniquet and possibly an Israeli pressure dressing if you want a pressure dressing. You can pack a wound with the quick clot stuff then put a pressure dressing over top for maximum effect. Once you get everything as un sanitary as it sounds - take it out of the wrappers and plastic and get a feel for how everything is supposed to go on and work, play with it and learn it if you haven't used it before. Also that quick clot might be powder if it is do not open that. just watch youtube videos.
  13. You can buy a prepared kit or assemble one yourself. I put my own together for another purpose but it always comes to the range with me. I recommend these two items to put in there http://www.amazon.com/Tac-Med-Solutions-SOFTT-W-Tourniquet/dp/B003YDSO1W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1389848381&sr=8-1&keywords=soft+t+tourniquet This is one of the nicest and most secure tourniquets I have ever used in training http://www.amazon.com/4-Israeli-Battle-Dressing-Bandage/dp/B006PH1UWO/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1389848306&sr=8-3&keywords=israeli+bandage These are great and simple pressure dressing that can be fashioned into a tourniquet as well The link below is something cheap that can be effective I bought 4 cut them in half to make 8 for my trauma bag http://www.amazon.com/SWAT-T-Tourniquet-BLUE/dp/B00CXAECM2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1389848321&sr=8-3&keywords=swat+t+tourniquet I cannot use Quick Clot so I don't recommend it BUT I have heard great things about the product especially the impregnated quick clot gauze. You can get those items I listed pretty cheap off of Amazon.
  14. Welcome to the forums! From down the road none the less.
  15. That is a pretty cool concept, I haven't seen anything like that. I think 125 is a bit much for it though.
  16. The two gauges could possibly be a compass... does the arrow always point to the same number or in the same direction?
  17. I don't have an iphone so can someone elaborate?
  18. The book was phenomenal, I hope the movie sticks to the meaning of the book, and judging by different reviews I've heard it should be a great film.
