  1. The pic that is linked is not the side I am talking about drilling.
  2. Posting pics thru image shack is a real pain in the ass. Any easy way guys?
  3. Remington 870 - 12ga super magnum I put a 18" barrel and 2 round mag extension on it. The factory Remington 18" barrel already has a barrel/mag clamp permanently affixed. I do not want to add a bolt on clamp for the swivel. I'm reluctant to mount the point to the front of the tube extention because I'm afraid of shooting the sling off. I would like to drill the center of the factory clamp through the flat part on the side and mount an attachment point. Or drill the bottom of the clamp through the round part and braze/mig weld the attachment point. Does anyone have a better suggestion or see any issue with the way I want to proceed? 6. P4Plenty, on 01 February 2013 - 08:32 PM, said: Leo's listen to whoever is signing the next paycheck. They have families to feed too There's nothing I've said that bashes LEO's. I'm not anti - LEO at all. I put this out their because this situation appears to be escalating to the point where shots are going to be fired and these guys/gals are potentially going to be in a shit-mess. It's one thing for them to go to a house to bust up a meth lab VS. going to a house to confiscate some war veterans constitutionally protected firearms. I wonder how many people are moving their firearms to a bunker somewhere away from their homes?
  7. Whats wrong with the irons? Doesnt that thing go in tube or stores in the stock?
  8. I get it, they are in between a rock and a hard place. But those law abiding gun owners are the ones that fund the paychecks, not the politicians.
  9. Oh and you might want to reword your signature "we're mainly aiming at Rowan Students/ relatives of NJ2AS members, but whatever." People are touchy about that kind of language.
  10. Negative. Watched one where he was pandering to the jewish community. The other one some guy (Johnson was behind him) was reading a letter from ???? about newtown and how they were glued to the TV all day crying their eyes out. I wanted to hurl at that. Well you SICK SON OF BITCHES TURN OFF THE TV!!! How can you watch that over and over and over? Sorry I got off topic. Anyhow, I get the gist, I've heard it before.
  11. A great example contrary to the BS Hollywood puts in peoples minds.
  12. Everything that you buy at the gun shop is registered. Trust me, there is a list.
  13. Bob, Heres the breakdown 8 patrolmen 1092 desk jockeys So the real number is $100k per officer.
  14. What did he do? You beat me too it! 100% right on ! They should all annouce they are having a meeting in a free state on that issue, IE: Texas, who already wants them to open up shop there.
  15. I understand it to be that when they have all the required paperwork in hand, FID app, Mental health statement, 2 references.
  16. Thanks TBTF. +1 bud. I don't think I can give you one officially, but at least here I can. I agree 100% PB. Since there is already a prior ruling, any new suit brought to the court is going to be held to the standards of that ruling. Unless there was proof that the chief was sitting on the application even though the SBI/FBI docs were returned to him. Good luck getting that. A friend once told me, who is an arbitrator, " If you want justice, stay away from the court house". I've found that to be true via some small claims suits I've filed. Please clarify the finger printing request the PD has to do. What finger print data base does the PD have direct access to? What I mean are there multiple or various layers they have access to? Is there a town, county, state, federal data base they access without having to deal with the a-soup agencies? I guess I'll just have to continue using the exemptions and let wifey keep building the collection. But herein lies part of the issue, if there is going to be confiscation she will let them in immediately because she is the owner of record on the firearms, but I on the other hand tend to be a bit more apt to tango.
  17. I whole heartedly agree and just wanted to add a little to your quote, hope you don't mind. When the guy that said he had been floating around the Mediterranean fighting Commies and he then gets home and finds them here I got chills. The politicians he was talking to were probally in diapers or not even born yet. I've heard these comments from these old guys before and, well, never really LISTENED, or better yet understood what they were talking about. Ah, the American dream, freedoms worst enemy, comfort. Well I'm starting to think the time of reckoning is upon us and it looks like we are going to have to think about what the word sacrifice really means. Think about if the LEOS (I am not against LEOS, so dont go there or turn this into an excuse to bash them) go out to start confiscating and a fire fight erupts, and it escalates to multiple depts and agencies. What are you going to do? How many LEOS are going to side with the citizens and tell the politicians to kiss it? Question: Do Leos take the same oath to defend the constitution? Because if they do and they firmly believe in 2A for citizens, then they are going to have to be the first ones to violate the illegal law of the state. We need some serious political reform in this country and it may, unfortunately, only come via a massacre for the history books.
