Cabelas has DPMS Panther Arms Oracle AR on sale for $630 bucks that I want to purchase. It has good reviews on Cabelas site and I can buy a load of ammo with the dough I'll save. Maybe I'll buy two. ) It has a flash hider and adjustable stock. Is it legal in NJ? I'm pretty sure it is if I pin the stock right? Only one "Evil" option then!? Good post 88. The guy was stupid for leaning his gun up against the truck but is there any possible way that an 870 could let one loose by it being dropped? What does he mean when he says - "if those parts become disengaged". Does that mean if the safety becomes disengaged or does it mean the other parts of the trigger group becoming dislodged they can set off a round? I hope someone can explain the plausibility of this happening. Maybe the mythbusters need to get on this. I don't plan on ever dropping my gun(s), but stuff happens.

Besides not all kids are football/baseball/soccer/etc players, but anybody can learn to shoot. Aren't the school doors locked anyhow?

Recently I encountered a sketchy situation involving a potential threat to my family. I want to thank the members of NJgunforums for their posts, debates, advice, arguments etc. These discussions were instrumental in me being able to keep calm and think clearly in a stressful situation. I feel the information I received from the members prevented a confused person from being injured, kept me out of the cop shop, and benefitted a law enforcement officer.
