The NJ GOP wants my money. This is what I told them.

Great article about the self inflicted wounds which have killed the GOP, by Pat Buchanan http://www.vdare.com/articles/who-killed-the-new-majority-the-gops-self-inflicted-wounds -
Buying ammo online w/ shipping insurance?
Red Solo Cup replied to fatty's topic in General Discussion
You did better than me. Although they did put paper cushioning on top of the ammo in the dry box. The other package which wasn't in a dry box was damp, not saturated but damp including some of the inner ammo packaging. -
Buying ammo online w/ shipping insurance?
Red Solo Cup replied to fatty's topic in General Discussion
Cabela's doesn't pack ammo too well. They don't double box and they don't wrap the contents in plastic either. So if you get a delivery that's been out in the rain it could be a real problem. Sportsmans Guide always wraps the ammo in plastic and I believe they double box also. Too bad they never have it in stock anymore. Cabela's is safest if you order the combos with the dry box. -
got the Speer Lawman 40 S&W @ 19.99/box which looks like Speer Lawman 9mm but is actually 40 S&W 165 GR TMJ supposed to be delivered 3/13.

Normally if you've got system restore points getting created daily on your main drive, recovery is very simple. Until your drive fails LOL

(NY) Petition To Repeal Gun Law Grows To 60,000 Signatures
Red Solo Cup replied to Red Solo Cup's topic in General Discussion
Gov. Cuomo's approval rating drops 15 points after new gun law The Quinnipiac University poll released Wed., Jan. 30, 2013, showed Andrew Cuomo’s approval rating was down to 59% after reaching 74% in December. http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/gun-law-drops-cuomo-approval-15-points-article-1.1251713 Hard to imagine his approval that high. All the little sheeple looking for a "leader" after Sandy?? Are people really that helpless? -
Anyone who claims to be a merchant but doesn't b---h about the amount of receivables they are required to hold in a collateral account against bad charges is IMHO sh--ting you. Kind of like asking an ebay seller how they like accepting paypal. Merchants pass along not only the interchange fees to customers, they also implicitly pass along the costs of fraud. Of course cash has its own problems, as do checks. But I suspect that losses due to credit cards >> losses due to checks >> losses due to cash.

No doubt his gun ownership is only a means to facilitate his writing career. I doubt he'd own or apply for concealed carry otherwise "It wasn’t until my mid-40s that my education in guns began, in the course of writing a novel..." Born 1962, mid 40's = ~2007, looks like that's when he sold his vampire books so he thought he might need to know something about firearms. Interesting that he moved to income tax-free Texas where he hit the jackpot with his book deals. (He quit his teaching gig.) Wonder if he just "visits" Cape Cod now, rather than relocate permanently to Mass. Wikipedia - Justin Cronin Latest doings Justin Cronin (born 1962) is an American author. He has written four novels: Mary and O'Neil and The Summer Guest, as well as The Passage and The Twelve as part of a trilogy. He has won the PEN/Hemingway Award, the Stephen Crane Prize, and the Whiting Writer's Award.[1] Born and raised in New England, Cronin is a graduate of Harvard University and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. He taught creative writing and was the "Author in-residence" at La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA from 1992 to 2005. He lives with his wife and children in Houston, Texas where he is a professor of English at Rice University.[2] In July 2007, Variety reported that the screen rights to Cronin's vampire trilogy was purchased by Fox 2000.[3] The first book of the series, The Passage, was released in June 2010.[4] It garnered mainly favorable reviews.[5][6] Bibliography: A Short History of the Long Ball (1990) Mary and O'Neil (2001) – Winner of The Stephen Crane Prize from Book of the Month Club The Summer Guest (2004) The Passage (2010) The Twelve (2012)[7] The City of Mirrors (2014)[7]

Surcharge for credit , discount for cash , it's the same thing people. If there is no "surcharge" posted then it means everyone is paying the surcharge. GET IT? Gas grass or ass nobody rides for free.

+1 It would be nice to blindside them with a snappy retort, however, -
My wife seems to believe that when you encounter a car with its back up lights on, that the correct response is to blow your horn and then proceed. Scary. Re-education not possible as you guys all know. The funniest thing I ever saw was an old lady turn a corner too tight at shop rite and ending up nose to nose with a car (also driven by a woman) coming out of the parking lane, the two of them were just honking at each other, neither one would give (and I think the car in the parking lane had a guy reversing behind her, crossing the T so to speak). Would have been a great youtube video.

GOV CHRISTIE CALLS 2PM NEWS CONF TODAY
Red Solo Cup replied to iRescue's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
Right now he is a shoo-in for re-election (his utmost goal). In 60 days he will put his finger in the air and see which way the wind is blowing. -
The best part about the free market....it punishes the hoarders once supply resumes. Just wait for the "oh shit" moment. Kind of like "trading places"

I'm with you Vlad. I can't see livid because I don't see any emotion in this issue by the "O" team, strictly a political calculation. If anything he's livid at being upstaged on the issue by Cuomo, ("little sfacime") whose breathless shouting rant hopefully ended any hopes for elective national office.

Excellent point. Change the conversation. This article is long winded but it makes essentially the same point, about the need to "de-program" the masses as if they were brainwashed by a cult. http://sultanknish.blogspot.com/2013/01/using-cultural-technology-in-culture-war.html

call the court. I got one of those from Jersey City, the clerk on the phone said something like, yeah , we've been having a lot of problems with this guy, and they dismissed it. or just pay the money. not worth it to go to the court. if you are pleading not guilty pro se you will sit there until every other case is handled. I did that once for a handicap tag not displayed. it was interesting but not sure worth the 3 hours. -
Easy walking radius being the key. What percentage of the US population is in any kind of shape to become refugees on foot?
