^^^^THIS^^^^ While you may have done everything correct you are most likely to jam yourself up with your statement!It's been said here ad nauseum... the ONLY thing that you should be saying after giving your Personal info (Name, DOB Ect.) is some version of "I'm not trying to make your job more difficult, but i am not willing to make any statements without counsel present" Considering the stress that ANY shooting is going to put you under, requesting transport to the hospital would probably be prudent.

Correct me if I'm wrong BUT you don't need a FID to own a firearm in NJ as long as u aren't a prohibited person. If my "uncle" willed me his gun collection I wouldn't need a FID. Why would this be any different? I was always told the FID is for purchase only.

Realistically autistic people may not knock quietly. He could have been loud and banging on the door. We don't know. The one thing we do know is that if he did indeed fire his weapon without knowing what was on the other side he is going to have a very bad year!

Perhaps what we can do is go on the various Facebook town pages, patch pages and newspaper websites we can be almost as effective and the cost is just time. Take a video like this and make it go viral in NJ! Post a topic like this " want guns off the street? Then watch this!"
