im not nervous.. I dont even live in NJ anymore...

This is what I believe is happening..

the state makes a law... and gives an example of what they mean about the law... the intention (if you want to comply) is very easy to understand... and very easy to satisfy...

but we find that explanation ridiculous.. and infringing... so we ignore it.. and interpret it how we want to..

a rivet might do the job... but so might a pin.. and so might some duct tape..

the reality is with no case to look at.. you really have no idea how the court case would go..

and due to that you are left with the law and intention as it is written...

like it or not.. the intention is crystal clear.. and that is to deny you a large cap mag.. or a mag that can be readily made into a large cap mag.. that is clearly the intention...

as I and others have stated... very unlikely you will become the test case...

but less likely if you just comply with the state as they want....

cool, now define comply LOL! If I have a mag with rivets and I don't own tools to remove them it's pretty dam permanent to me

And always good to have Knuckleheads like this guy on the forum to provide variety and comic relief! :-)

thank you, thank you, I'll be back on Sat night LOL! In all seriousness please just follow the manufacturers instructions. I'm sure there is a break in lube.

  3. Since no one has mentioned it- I own a 2012 Hyundai sonata hybrid. Great commuter car. Basic luxury features like dual climate, front and rear heated seats and heated exterior mirrors plus intelligent key. Not the ultimate package either! Only 26k and rides great and getting 35mpg :) happy with my lifetime battery warranty and 10yr/100k mile warranty also :)

OP has a nicer car now, that would be a big step down!

  4. FWIW I bought the LS430 twice and they are wonderful cars but couldn't own them for more than 6 months. VERY boring! You have a good price range. I would look for a little older but less than 10,000 miles. I bought a 08 750LI in 2011 with 5,000 miles on it for 38k. Was like absolute brand new with 2.9% BMW financing. Walked out without putting a dime down. Best car I ever owned. MPG was actually on par with my other large cars. Even had massaging drivers seat. As you may have guessed I have car issues LOL. I leased a 2012 TL so I would stop flipping cars. They have great leases. My fav car in the past 4 years was my SC430! In that time I have owned 2 corvettes, M3 cabrio, 750LI, 2 LS430's, a couple of trucks and a few more that don't matter.

Average family income and net worth of your Subaru owner is by a good margin higher than of any other main brand auto company, such as BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, etc. Just saying.... my wealthiest clients are actually owners of Toyotas, Fords and Honda's.... with a few Acura's thrown in.... nice cars too... just a tad ugly.

you need wealthier clients LOL, none of mine with a worth>20 million would ever drive them.
