  1. Any of you guys looking for G43 holsters, I now have them available for ordering.
  2. Taran Tactical makes a nice mag extension for it.
  3. While that's a great price, I'm sure this thread will be full of "ugh botach". Good find if they hold up on their end.
  4. I have to say, you're part of the 10% I hear saying that Pac shouldn't have won that fight.
  5. Oh hay. So, the screws that you see in the first picture are for mounting whatever belt attachment they had on it for that picture. It's under the sheath so you can't see it. There are still rivets under those screws. Re-heating and clamping won't do anything because, it can only be as tight as the blade is thick. Adding a little twist at the corner is a good idea. I personally wouldn't do it, just for aesthetic reasons, but obviously it worked for you. What I do, on 95% of the stuff I make, is add a small point where the turn of a screw would loosen/tighten the retention. Everyone likes things differently so why should they all be the same retention? This is my CRKT that is a minimalistic design for wearing horizontally on the belt.

    Holsters

I'm a little biased on the subject but, kydex is far superior in durability, maintenance, and wear on the gun. If you find yourself looking for a kydex holster, I'm your guy.
  7. I will have kydex holsters available to order in a couple of weeks. Molds have been ordered and I'm just awaiting delivery.
  8. I thought that I would have surely gotten a point or two but, I have not. I'm such a goodie 2 shoes.
  9. I'm assuming that everyone here arguing the sales tax agrees with "I won't shop at the LGS because I can buy it cheaper online and not pay tax"
  10. I don't buy any less from amazon since they opened a warehouse here. It has made exactly ZERO impact. We pay tax on everything else in this state so why would it make a difference?

    HG Length VS CCW

This here. XDs in 9mm or .45 is a great shooting sub compact. You only gain 1rd by going 9mm and the .45 is a pretty damn easy shooter for its size. It can also be had in a 4" model. I just have to add that the XDs is the most popular IWB holster that I sell. To me, I think that says a lot about it's reputation and popularity among ccw-ers.

    HG Length VS CCW

I'm 6' - 185lbs and I conceal my Baby Deagle + 1 mag very easily. If you're unfamiliar with its size, it's slightly larger than a G17. It's all about your body shape, gear, placement, and grip length. Pick the gun you shoot best with and try everything you can to make it work.
  13. I don't know what he uses but, I use Choice Beard Co. and I love the stuff. I prep my beard at 6 am and I can still smell it at 7pm. I highly recommend it.
  14. Yea, even today (sunday) there weren't any great deals to be had. It pissed me off when I see Independence 115gr 9mm going for $18/box and PMC for $20. No thanks. I did however get BBQ sauce from AverageJoe and pickles of course. Pumped to try the BBQ sauce later. On another note, I can't believe what passes as a "quality" kydex holster. Out of 6 companies making them, I would only buy from 1 of them. Guys, please do research on who you're buying from when you buy kydex. I saw way too many holsters that were made with overheated kydex which is really bad.
  15. I'm still going for pickles and BBQ sauce.
  16. It sounds to me like bigmoves is new to this 2a thing. You haven't found anything new to show us, or at least haven't disclosed it. You also haven't made many friends by communicating in the current tone you're using. Take a step back and realize that we are not new to this and have been around to witness each of the previously mentioned court cases, as they happened. They are not news to the members on this board. Come up with a new idea, and try to present it in a factual, informative manner. This post was written in Tapatalk. It must be broken because it doesn't look like your posts do.
  17. You can open carry in PA with no permit at all. Just can't transport it unless you basically follow the same laws as NJ, mostly.
  18. I've been talking with a friend who is in the business of night vision about splitting a table in the future. It will happen eventually. If I go, I'll be sure to stop by your table and pick up some sauce.
  19. I'm possibly going on sunday. Not 100% yet
  20. I haven't cleaned my G17 mags since.....ever. So, about 5,000 rds fired total, and about 1,000 of those fired at IDPA. I don't need no stinkin cleen maguhzeens.
  21. I've used Rainiers, Berry's, Montana and Xtreme. All plated and I use all except Rainiers again. My constant is Xtreme because they are best bang for the buck for me. Montana would be my first choice if money was nothin' but a thang.
  22. No, not an official interpretation. Only what I've been told by those doing the retail blocking. It was my understanding that it is the reasoning for why they are all riveted and/or roll pinned.
  23. If you can take the magazine apart and replace the follower/spring to reverse the modification to allow more than 15rds, it is illegal to posses in NJ. So unless you're permanently modifying the baseplate so that it can't be removed, it's a felony.
  24. John, I do custom holsters. I can make you a nice rig. Feel free to contact me at [email protected] and we'll go over all the details.
