Inexpensive Gun Safe at Harbor Freight
RubberBullets replied to AlexTheSane's topic in Hot Deal Discussions
At that price point I dont think anyone was saying it was. -
Gee i dont know.. customer loyalty, public relation headaches, tarnished image, etc. To some there is more to being a consumer than to get the best bang for your buck. Id say them jacking up prices like they did played right into the hysteria, and fueled the fire. To you and others, the bottom line price is all that matters. To some of us, we wouldnt give them the satisfaction of a page view for the overnight pricing spikes. I can wait a few weeks to find the same deal from another retailer that arent complete shit bags. But who cares because I need ammo right nao!

I bought a liberty that was almost 700lbs. I rented a powered dolly to get it up 4 porch steps, the door threshold, and 13 steps to the second floor. Tight fits at the bottom and top of the step's landing. Myself and my 67yr old father made it happen. Where there is a will there is a way. Going down steps are easier with the dolly by the way. It is my belief the steps would hold the weight of the 400lb safe provided the steps are not in a state of disrepair. It cost about $125 for the dolly rental for the day, but TOTALLY worth it. the alternative is a moving company or a safe company that provides moving services that will bang you 300-500 bucks to move the safe that cost you almost as much.

SPORTSMANS GUIDE.... F- Customer Service....

File a complaint with the BBB for bad business practices. They may lose a customer but there's no reason why you cant justifiably give them a bad mark for doing shady shit. -
SPORTSMANS GUIDE.... F- Customer Service....
RubberBullets replied to JaredC's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
Where is their god now? "A response to keep/cancel the item in question is recommended. Do note that our backorder dates are tentative and subject to change due to vendor shipments. Shipments may arrive sooner than the proposed date on the notice. Therefore, if a response is not received to specifically cancel the item, this will be charged and shipped out to you assuming you still wish to receive the item." You answered them telling that you wanted the backordered item... by their own FAQ admission, you will charged and shipped for the item when it becomes available. Not that after multiple requests you are required to request continued backorder via postal mail. -

I would suggest looking over their Terms of Service agreement and see if there is anything that explicitly spells out a need to write via postal mail for continuing a backorder. or better yet, call back and politely ask where it states that in their terms and conditions. If they cannot accurately detail where or if any such clause exists.. ask them if they usually make up new rules when a price increase does not go in their favor? -
1000% hermit crab.. have you never been down to the boardwalk?

He posted it originally then deleted his OP because of the rash of shit he was getting. A member was kind enough to grab the cached page for all to enjoy.. Ironically your response was my reply after i read that lol

Well there is a gun shop on the border of Manchester but in an adjoining township. I dont see any listings for gun shops in manahawkin, HOWEVER, I would give pause until a positive ID is made.

That started last year. They chose to sensor all gun related searches from their shopping tab. http://www.digitaltrends.com/web/google-causes-controversy-as-it-removes-guns-from-google-shopping-but-its-not-a-conspiracy/

Since everyone is posting new puppy threads...
RubberBullets replied to RubberBullets's topic in General Discussion
Yes, his ears are getting done next thursday. We planned in the future to get a red girl, but it;; probably take a while to get the puppy nightmares cleaned from our memories before we commit again. He's 10 weeks. His daddy was about 90-95 lbs and 28" at the shoulder so he should be about the same weight/height. His color is somewhere in between both his parents. Dad: Mom: -
Been on this journey for 5 years surviving 2 chihuahuas, 2 twin girls... now I get to have my son... Gentlemen, meet Jäger my new Doberman puppy.

My head hurts from reading that post. Its no conspiracy..its negligence for not repairing compromised wiring. Most folks dont head to wildwood until thursday evening. There was no shortage.. there was no water shortage... I feel bad for the IC that didnt make the call to make a trench cut sooner... but I can tell you that fighting fire in high winds is no easy chore. Put your national book of coverups away... we had a good laugh but it gets old quick Sent from my SCH-I545
