Thank you so much for all of the advice! I am going to go back and re read I just wanted to answer a few questions that I can quickly. I am in Gloucester county near Bob's and a few others. I have only handled guns never fired them so If anyone can recommend a good training class I would really appreciate it. I have a few friends with military experience so I was hoping they might help me out, but I would really prefer a class. I know this may sound silly, but I don't think a 22 will be enough gun for me. I am sure they are fun to shoot and the ammo is inexpensive, but I have a feeling if I start there I will be moving on quickly.

Hello, I am interested in purchasing my first gun. I have not been through the permit process yet since I want to figure out what I want and get the money together within the 90 day window. I really like the look of a revolver and the ammo price of a 22. There are so many calibers that it is hard for me to figure out if I could afford to shoot a lot of bullets at a bigger caliber. I want to range shoot and have something for home protection. Any suggestions?
