  1. If possible please post pics and description of all (or as much of) the new firearms announced. Thanks and have a great time!
  2. Nice thanks. Just picked myself a multi reticle for $99
  3. that sucks. but at least you know who hit you and the process altho slow and inconvenient, is in motion. how did you know it was a port authority truck?
  4. excellent deal! if i didnt buy a kimber a few months ago i would be all over this
  5. Temporarily out of stock. Damn shame, my SW M&P 15-22 love these almost as much as CCI MiniMags
  6. i got the 3rd gen version from Lisa last week. they also sell extra 10rd mags for $25 each. shot like a champ with both 36 & 40 grain mini mags. gonna try federal bulk to see how they perform even though they are not recommended.
  7. I recently bought .380ACP reloads from Bullet Hole for around 65% the price of regularly priced FMJs and they worked perfectly on a brand new, never been fired Sig P238. I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of other vendors that sell quality reloads in 9mm and .45ACP. Please feel free to PM me if you would rather not post publicly. Thanks all!
  8. Thanks all. I didn't want to have to buy any sight pushing tools since this is probably the only time I'd ever replace one on any of my firearms... Or at least until the tritium runs out a decade from now. I didn't see Tony357's tutorial, I'll do a more thorough search later. I called around and the closest place I found is NJ Firearms Guild. They would install for $45 (not cheap) and take a couple of days. Unfortunately I forgot to ask whether they just use punches or if they use non-marring sight tools. Or better yet, those specific to Kimbers.
  9. Looking for someone experienced to install Meprolight Tactical Wedge night sights on my Kimber Custom Crimson Carry II. I'm hoping I won't have to send it to Kimber (as suggested by Caso's and a couple of other gun shops). I'm new to 1911s in general.. is there any particular reason why Kimber sights are so tricky to replace? Thanks all! Peter.
  10. I've been there a few times. I like how the grizzled ROs just leave everyone alone and just talk amongst themselves when they can see the customers know what they are doing. Range price is decent but schedules are weird as karcirate mentioned. It is hardly busy on week nights so you get your money's worth and then some if u get there early (around 7ish)... with no one bothering you to remind how much time you have left. A much more relaxing setting compared to Bullet Hole.
  11. Jersey City, Hudson County.. took 4 weeks from my application to picking up my FID. I know of 3 other locals who got theirs in about a month. References were called and politely questioned. P2P was supposed to be 2 weeks but I got mine as early as a week and a half even though it was during the holidays. I've always considered the police officer (former captain I think) who worked on our application to be very helpful, pro-gun, and on point.. but seeing how many others seems to be taking forever, we really must have lucked out. Best of luck to all!
