  1. not sure how cheap you are looking to stay. personally if you can find a used s&w 686 or gp100 than definitely do that. If you want new, look at the ruger sp101. ive heard good things about them and you can usually get them new in the $450-500 range
  2. I have a 4lb striker spring in my gen 4 glock. It lightened the trigger pull nicely. problem is that with some ammo i tend to get light primer strikes. Im thinking of putting stock striker spring back in. Ive read about the wolf 6lb trigger spring lightening the pull of the trigger. Anyone have any experience with the heavier trigger springs? does it lighten the pull? enough to notice? any issues? thanks
  3. I recently got this 22/45. Im looking to see if any of you have this same model with a sight on it. I have the stock rail on top. I tried another halo sight on it. Only way it would fit was with the sight too far forward for my liking. Im looking to use the stock rail, not remove rear sight, and have the sight mount to the rear of the rail. Wondering if any of you out there have any suggestions on a sight. pics of yours? Also, Im not looking to spend a fortune. the cheaper the better. thanks
  4. definitely get a 1911. i wasnt a fan of sig. i sold my sig after two months. some people love them but i dont see what all of the hype is about. Ive shot many of them and dont understand it. for the money a sig will cost you can get a much nicer 1911
  5. I got a para elite pro which I love! Check it out. I will probably be at central jersey this weekend if you wanted to try it
  6. I am looking to purchase more mags. My glock is a gen 4. Do I need to get gen 4 mags? Or can I buy any gen. I know the mag release was changed which is why I ask. I've had people tell me yes and no
  7. 3-8 months??? you need to move to a new town! Longest ive ever waited was 2 months
  8. i have a buddy that has the expert and LOVES it! a lot of gun for the money. only thing i would change out on that model is the grips. put on some nice g10s
  9. why not? it makes them tons of money. if they had stuck with just the 17, glock wouldnt be so popular.
  10. That thing looks too nice to even shoot! Id feel terrible getting it dirty haha
  11. I dont have the tac 5 but I do have the elite pro. LOVE IT!!!
  12. I like the paddle release better. I dont have to rotate the gun in my hand like i do with a standard push button. i use my right index finger to drop the mag instead of thumb. My ppq m1 is one of my favorite pistols that i have ever shot! the only down side i see to it is the high bore axis. It does get a little more muzzle rise than some other comparable guns. Since mine is only a 9mm it's not so bad. I notice it does rise a bit more than my g19. I would bet that one chambered in .40 would definetly be snappier than say the glock 23. I would say the ppq wins in all other areas. Super comfortable and probably one of if not the best triggers that comes on ANY polymer pistol.
  13. i would give it time. Im sure they will make a 9mm version. They already made the .45 slim. I also think they probably already have it designed. they probably space the release dates out so they arent competeing with one another. People that are buying the 380 now will im sure go and buy the 9mm when it is released.
  14. because than my wife cant say anything about buying another gun. If I sell one it makes it ok to get another haha.
  15. how do you search completed auctions? Ive checked gun broker and dont see many used ones
  16. seeing alot of s&w 686 and cz pistols on this list. I love my 686. this list has me thinking i need a cz though haha
  17. nice! looks good! do these shoot all kinds of ammo including bulk? or are they picky
  18. Shot my brothers mark 2 the other day. really considering selling my sr22 and getting something along those lines. Was thinking of maybe the mark 3. The sr22 has shot all kinds of ammo without issue. can i expect the same from a mark 3? What can i even get for a ruger sr22 anyway? Its in great condition and would come with everything i bought it new with.
  19. im really thinking my next purchase is going to be a gen 4 g34 as well. been wanting to build a "race gun". the after market parts are everywhere and cheap
  20. I have both. PPQ m1 is one of my favorite pistols ever! M&P is really nice too. Never gave me an issue.
