  1. If it was then the whole gun was refinished because it matches perfectly.
  2. I recently aquired a Colt revolver from my father in law as a christmas gift. The problem I am having is trying to correctly identify the darn thing. I will post pictures later when I get home but maybe someone may know something by the follwoing description. It is a Colt Officer's Special 38, that is listed on the barrel. It is a six inch barrel that has a rib on top which states Colt King. It is a heavy barrely which tappers towards the end. Its blued and has a wide spur hammer. It also has Target Walnut grips on it. Unknown if they are original but they appear to be. My problem is that the serial number is 606XXX which makes it a 1949-1950 model(according to proofhouse.com) but it doesn't appear to be that old. When I look at the descriptions in my Blue Book (2011 edition) the description that fits best is a fifth generation which wasn't made till the 60's and 70's. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  3. Just wondering if anyone in here has changed their connectors in their glocks and which brand they used. Was looking into just curious.
  4. Address Bar?? You mean a web search??
  5. Just wondering how you guys check to see if the firearms you buy from a private seller aren't stolen?? Do you guys check everytime?? I know I haven't checked every time, but was wondering how and if you guys check.
  6. Just wondering if anyone on here is a gunsmith or knows of a good one in this area.I was given a .380 and want it checked out before I try firing it. Its from a no name company that was only around for a year or two.
  7. Any opinion on the Beretta Nano?? Just found that one today
  8. The only thing is that I have department regulations that restrict what I can carry off duty.
  9. Sticky Grips if you don't mind I would love to meet you out there. AndyB the only reason I am looking to switch is that I want a little more fire power. I am a current LEO and carry the lcp off duty in the summer when I am in shorts, i.e. its easy to hide. And I have a glock 27 for normal carry. So I was looking to switch to get a bit more power but still keep it small.
  10. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this gun, or know of a place in Central NJ that I could get my hands on. Possibly looking to replace my LCP with the PF9.
