  1. I just moved to Parsippany and there "check list" for change of address stated: e) Must surrender current Firearms Identification Card when new card is issued. That being said, she made a photocopy of my FID and made sure to hand it back to me and asked me to make sure I had it before I left.
  2. I turned in my paperwork for change of address of my FID card and for 2 purchase permits. The lady at the department of records in Parsippany was extremely help, very nice and knowledgeable about the paper work needed. Only problem is she told me they are back logged for 3-4 months...here's hoping for a Christmas miracle
  3. Not to mention the barrel 196 mm which is only 7 3/4 inches long
  4. I know in my town and also the town my father lives in, they only have 1 officer to handle all the applications. Also most of the time you have to call in advance to get their schedule so you can meet on their time. It took me almost 3 months to get my ID card and my first P2P back. Depending on the officer you may get luck and they will be nice in getting back to you but the one from my town told me that he would get it done on his timeline, my paperwork wasn't as important as whatever else he had going on...Sorry man just the way the police treat legal firearms owners
