I'm not sure about pocket watches, but I had a Vintage Gold Watch repaired by John at Farfo. He did a phenomenal job. I would not hesitate to send him any of my antique wristwatches. Right now I'm 99% sure I am going to have to file with the Police. Like the others I have contacted my CC company since I have not received my refund yet, and Ryan has STILL NOT provided me a refund for the FTS base and shipping. I paid that by Money Order so there would be no waiting for any type of CC refund for him to refund my money.

I have 3 permits coming in soon, 2 are spoken for already. I have a few different types, calibers, sizes and styles of Handguns already. This will not have a designated purpose. I plan on some range time, just to have fun and for anything else that might come up.....My question is: Which Walther is better? The PPQ M1 (or 2), PPX, P99, PK380? I don't have a favorite caliber so I'm good to go with 380 on up. Is any one models quality superior than the others, or Sub-par from the others? If you had to grab 1 of these and bet your life on it, which one would it be?

I got the same "refund" email and like the others, I have not seen a dime. I checked the status of the $27 money order, that has not been cashed yet, so chances are he's just going to toss it and continue to say he never received it. I wish I felt differently, but.......

I was in Dick's in South Plainfield today. They had a full stock of long guns.

As of right now, I have an email saying I am being refund my purchase price (same email as everyone else), but there is no mention of the $27 money order I sent for the FTS mount and shipping. Last thing Ryan said about it (almost a week ago) was he never received it.BULLSHIT! I probably would have bbelieved it if he didn't say the same thing to Dave. There was no way 2 checks got lost at the same time from the same address. I have been more patient about this then almost anything else I have ever seen or have been through in my life, but my patients are running very thin right now!

I just checked the market place. There is a Glock 23 with night sights for $550. I dont know about you, but for a $141 difference, I'll take my money to PA.

Effingers in Bound Brook has a very nice S&W 686 stainless for $499. (As of 12:15 today). Its a good deal for a great revolver. I would have bought it myself if I didn't just order one.

Surplus City has Police trade in Glock 23's (only a couple left) for $339 with 2 mags, $30 shipping. Even with the transfer/NICS fee, it's still a good price.

I mostly use a LGS for my purchases, but sometimes I find something online either a lot cheaper, or something he can't get, his response is always the same.....get it online and save myself a few bucks. Sometimes he's cheaper than the prices online, and sometimes his knowledge and support are worth the few extra bucks for a firearm he might be higher on. As for comparing a Shop from Florida, Idaho, Utah or wherever to NJ......Just imagine the property tax difference let alone the mortgage and the rest of the cost of living. I would imagine just that alone would explain a lot of the price difference. Like the others said, there are plenty of good great shops around, don't let a couple of crappy ones ruin your appetite!

Mikk1, Have you looked at the ISSC M22? they are under $300 and as close to a true Glock .22 as you can get....at least until Glock makes one.
