  1. I was chalking it up to he was joking and knew about the "Throw the gun" post that's becoming infamous here. Wait, you were joking right OP?
  2. Wait, I am mistaken, isn't the preferred method to throw the gun? (Sorry, couldn't resist)
  3. Same as Nick. Chris Fry showed a technique (happened on my weapon actually) point in safe direction, brace yourself in a squat like position, grab charging handle and slam stock into your thigh while pulling the charging handle back. Left me with a bruise with it works. Primer may have been too high on the reload.
  4. Same as henry. I'm neurotic (not even a clinical diagnosis anymore) about my reloads. If something's going to fail, I'd rather it occur to me than someone else.
  5. At least for psychologists, they have always reported when there was an issue and aren't subject to penalty as a result of the APA Ethics code. This is simply an overreach of authority and exploitation of that code. 4.05 Disclosure (a) Psychologists may disclose confidential information with the appropriate consent of the organizational client, the individual client/patient or another legally authorized person on behalf of the client/patient unless prohibited by law. b) Psychologists disclose confidential information without the consent of the individual only as mandated by law, or where permitted by law for a valid purpose such as to (1) provide needed professional services; (2) obtain appropriate professional consultations; (3) protect the client/patient, psychologist, or others from harm; or (4) obtain payment for services from a client/patient, in which instance disclosure is limited to the minimum that is necessary to achieve the purpose. (See also Standard 6.04e, Fees and Financial Arrangements.)
  6. Time for some shift rope training huh Rob? 4:1 MA system and a ramp. Bring the guys over and call it "training"
  7. Lee dies are pretty inexpensive and have the same threads. The kitchen scale idea might not work unless it measures Grains as opposed to Grams. If ordering everything else from Dillon, the storage boxes are like 2 bucks each, might as well throw them into the order.
  8. Oh yeah, Malfunction Junction certainly builds confidence. I took it in June/July of this past year. Bring water, a cooler filled with it will gain you many friends.
  9. Yes, they ship to NJ. Good company to deal with.
  10. The medical premium is one of Christie's things that applies to every employee in the state benefits plan, not just LE. It's a sliding scale based on salary, maxing out at 35% of the plan premium for employees making over 120K if I recall correctly.
  11. I try to stay out of the squabbles here, but I am going to offer my two cents. If the OP in this thread, and the last wanted recommendations on DVDs, then so be it. If he wanted training in underwater basketweaving and although the safest and most effective way of instruction is face to face, he insisted on only watching DVDs or a hybrid modality then so be it. It's his money. I respect all of your opinions and have learned a lot from many of you, and as an educator agree with your statements. I wanted to learn long distance shooting but this is NJ and I can't find anywhere to push a rifle out to 1000 yards, so I watched a Magpul DVD and went Wow, that's pretty interesting. Does that make me a distance shooter? No, but it gives me an idea of what I"m getting myself into. Perhaps the OP wants to watch DVDs to get a better understanding of what he is getting himself into? There's no substitute for experience, but in lieu of that, as it's said in Latin Cognitio Ductus (spelling might be off) but Knowledge is Power.
  12. Great shooting last night, excellent food. Thank you Rosey for coordinating all of that. I know the turnout was lower than anticipated so if that threw off the cost, I'm willing to toss in more money.
  13. Two blocks up from the statehouse was a nearly empty all day parking lot. Sorry that you couldn't find it. You missed a good rally.
  14. Final price was $775. so 14.7 cents per round....that's insane.
  15. Mike, Shoot and scoot from PPC then. Last month you guys were gone well before 11. It sucks not being able to sit and BS but you can at least get some rest.
  16. I believe EB Sportsman is doing compliance work as well, worth a phone call to find out. They aren't far north of Monmouth County.
  17. They aren't accepting back orders anymore. There was something on their FB page about it earlier. I was thinking the same thing, just wait for the month or so that it takes to get shipped.
  18. You may have to fill out new forms if you move out of one municipality and into another. Some departments require that, other than that, I haven't personally encountered anyone who has had issues with the I believe 30 day notification window.
  19. Got the same reply. That's the "a little pregnant" response. On the fence.
  20. Thank you, it was a pleasure to deal with you. Great guy, excellent seller!
  21. Having them shipped to an FFL for pinning is legal.
  22. Not a lawyer, but you are under what would be considered dangerous quantities for hazmat shipping/transportation so I would think you are alright. Separate it from the passenger compartment to isolate it.
