  1. Same here. From what I heard, so did a lot of folks. Problem was they returned them after it didn't pan out. The investment in time and money paid off for us in Sandy. We had our well, fridges and freezers running along with Internet and TV and a few lights. I went with a wheeled portable that I can run and lock behind our fence. Takes two minutes to roll out, hook up and throw the switches and we are live again. Hopefully we don't need to use it again! I still run it once a month....just in case..
  2. She makes my skin crawl. I'm sure she'll brew up some other bs feel good bills before she retires or gets vote out. It's up to CC to veto all the bs bills on his desk now. If he doesn't, we are no better off in this state now, and it can still get worse for us!
  3. Nice to meet you and great seller! Thanks Ron
  4. Good deal. Thanks!
  5. You on a well? I respectfully disagree with those recommendations, especially if you have a well or are near a natural water source. Or if you have pets that frequent this area. Do some reading on the subject. Google other methods too. Insecticides and grubx are bad stuff and it will only work temporarily against the moles but permanently on the environment. Your soil needs microorganisms to grow grass and other living things. This stuff wipes them all out. It then takes years to recover.
  6. get some milky spore or nematodes, spread them and let them work. you will only kill grubs and nothing else. I would steer away from most of the commercial grub formulas only cause they kill the beneficial organisms in your lawn too. Unfortunately, moles love earthworms too. They'll never be 100% gone unless you figure out how to exclude them from your property. (cats, dogs or chicken wire barriers all help) I still get voles from time to time but I have learned to think of them as free aeration.
  7. You can use chunk charcoal, or almost any chunk wood. Unless you cut your own, then it's easy! The little smoker box in the Viking does ok. I used it a few time for small q's, and fish. It's fairly well insulated so you can just run that burner and maintain 225 all day. The Viking infrared burners do a wicked prime rib or beef roast too. R
  8. If you are looking in that price range check these! If they existed when I bought the Viking..... http://kalamazoogourmet.com/products/hybrid-fire-grill/
  9. If you got the coin, get a Viking. Ours is 10 and looks and works like new. Nothing like 100,000 btu's. That said, I still have and love our Weber kettle and Klose pit.
  10. Have 17, 19, 21 and 26 all gen 4's. I would consider a single stack sub compact if they ever build one, but for now, I'm good.
  11. WASR10 or Saiga variant. Prices are starting to drop on these....
  12. I despise the way it's worded as well, but still paticipated due to low pro numbers.
  13. Need to raise our numbers! https://www.popvox.com/bills/us/113/x101
  14. Not happening tonight for me. I am off that week so April it is.
  15. Get it if you need it. Not horrible priced either. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shooting/Ammunition/Handgun-Ammunition%7C/pc/104792580/c/104691780/sc/104372280/Herters-Select-Grade-Handgun-Ammunition/1305056.uts 16.99 for 50
  16. I have 2 of them bolted in drawers. and considering a third. They never fail to open, and are very quiet. They are thin enough to fit in most any drawer. Depending on how long your entry sequence is, it can be open quite fast. I especially like the pop open lid. R
  17. Its so true. As soon as my wife held the Beretta Cheetah in her hand I knew she was gonna buy it, and she did...
  18. Wow! That's insane! 70 in that little room? I will heed your advise and get there early!
  19. Thanks for the group buy!
  20. I just happened to be driving by there this morning and the traffic to get in the lot was insane! I didn't bother to stop....
  21. I gotta get there this wednesday. Anyone know how crowded it was last month?
  22. They just bubble wrapped the ammo in my dry box with some paper cushioning too. . I think my ups guy put the box in a big clear bag! He's a shooter and knows what's in there! I need to get him some 223 as a tip! I have never purchased insurance for anything shipped. The couple of times I had problems, the items were exchanged with no cost.
