  5. The coverage for this one really got me wound up last night. They called it a 22 magnum assault rifle....then flashes the GSG photo up.. Really? a GSG is now known as a 22 magnum assault rifle? And the LPD taking about a large cache of ammo... They didn't say how many rounds, but I will assume it was a Federal Bulk Pack... Really??. Glad this loser did the public a favor by offing himself. Sorry..wound up again...
  6. This made me think of that Seinfeld episode where George took the book into the bathroom, then had to buy it. And nobody wanted it because it was on the list. (at least this shotgun will be locked in evidence for a while.) Sorry. Sick sense of humor. Been in that DSG many times. I never had to carry the plastic container either.
  7. I've tried the Walmart on Rt1 in Neshaminy and their shelf has been bare every time I pass by. Also the Dicks by Oxford Valley Mall was bare (for what I wanted) last pass through. I go past at least once every two weeks. You got to know which day their stock arrives to get lucky.
  8. I was thinking the same thing. Ups dropped off 600 rds of 9mm today and 600 of 45 last week. This bill would truly suck. Though maybe my ups guy would like it......nah...he's a shooter too!
  9. exit tax is +-2% of the sold price of the home, unless you can prove you are moving in state. I have a coworker that relocated to MO last year and had to pay it. Pretty easy loophole: find a friend/family member that will allow you to use their address for 6 months as a rental. thats all it takes from what I'm told. edit: Looked it up and its pretty damn confusing! here is an interesting exerpt from my research on it: The most significant one (for this market, at least) is number 7: "The gain from the sale will not be recognized for Federal income tax purposes under Internal Revenue Code Section 721, 1031, 1033...." In other words, if a married couple has lived in the property as their primary residence for two of the past five years, property gain up to $500,000 does not incur tax.   14. My normal UPS driver told me he is a shooter at R14... Normally he hides the packages on my porch but last week he left a sig required slip for a Cabelas box marked for orm d. Luckily I was off the next day to get it. It was actually a good conversation - the way times are now, I'm a bit nervous about leaving it, was his comment. I asked him to please leave it next time. He echoed everyone's concern about finding 223 rounds etc.. Hes a good guy... I think he's on here.... Hopefully its just a glitch in the system and your package shows up...
  15. Got one. Nice rifle and a good starting AR platform for the $. (maybe not in today's market though) Keep in mind if you plan any mods to it, you may be better off building one from scratch or saving your money and buying up.
