  1. I doubt it from the pics, looks like they were that way for a while.

I can't see why the owner of BA would refuse to provide the combo to the safes and force the State to drill/cut them open (just IMO)

I wonder if the owner was even their when they took the stuff. I can't imagine him being aware of the raid before hand so who knows the state might not have ha a choice.

  2. Ok in doing some research it also seems as they might be marked as metric designations as in 18.5 over 18.3. I think this would be improved cylinder. Going to look more by if anyone can help would be much appreciated

  3. Ok so I went back to the shop it is a Lahrona(sp). Now how the hell do I tell what it is choked the bottom barrel has one star an the top has 1 with n1 next to it I think that means they are both full choke but if someone can tell me something different that would be great also when I pull the trigger on am empty gun (single trigger) it only clicks once I throught it would be one for one barrel one for the other. Am I doing something wrong. BTW if you can't tell I have no idea about double guns

  4. It was the Spanish gun Indesal i looked up pictures of it. From what I can tell it is the Silver one model imported by American Arms. Only one i have found for sale was on armslist for 600 the one i found was much cheaper. Just want to know if anyone has any experience with them thinking about going and picking it up tomorrow

  8. No, I don't have any 10/22 receivers because I've never had anyone ask me for one........

But you stated you wanted to pick up a receiver same day in NJ or PA. You cannot buy a receiver in PA directly unless you are a dual NJ/PA resident.

Why not is it not the same as a lower or any other firearm. Not questioning you just curious what the difference is

  9. Yes , I am such an awesome wife that I come on forums and make fun trips for my husband. NOOOOOOOOT lol . Pete and I will be going , Fishnut , would be great to have another woman on the trip.

So it is starting 1350.00 for up to 6 passengers. Which is pretty reasonable. I imagine the longer the tip the more $$. I'm cool with a half day trip though . So should we start talking dates? We have room for 4 I guess since Pete and I make 2.

If it is half day then you are talking inshore tuna I guess

  10. Stopped in today and picked up a 10/22 almost got an Italian over under they on in used for 300 but it was not choke tuned just had fixed. Looked looked like a nice gun had some machine engraving on the receiver company start with an I sorry I can't remember the name I was very tempted

  11. A question for those of you who know a little about pedigree dogs and dog breeding... and the "politics" contained therein. <_<

I was talking with my next door neighbor last night as she was walking the family's new male puppy (some kind of "spaniel" or something). The dog has a "sister" but was not with them that night. The sister dog is at my neighbor's mom's house nearby. The reason being, our male friend was recovering from "that special surgical procedure..." :shok: Dang.... "shut down before he could start up..." :D

She went on to say that it was a requirement of the breeder that he be "fixed," before the breeder would grant full ownership to my neighbor. I thought that curious and unfair, until it dawned on me that this was the breeder's way of keeping the breed "pure," and ensuring that no one else but them get to breed purebreds and make money from it.

Seriously? Is this how it works? If that's the case, then if I ever get the opportunity to adopt, I hope I can catch one at a shelter or pound, etc., *before* they get "fixed," and screw the breeders.... Unless, of course, they (shelters, etc.) also require the same...

I think most shelters spay and neuter to control the population.
