  1. The judge's opinion is pretty damn incredible:
  2. Theres a suspect apprehended in connection to this now, he's a Saudi national... http://www.nypost.com/p/news/national/authorities_under_suspect_guard_y2m8cJO29uC2PDGIjYBalO
  3. Easy to deal with & quick shipping after payment. Thanks!
  4. This picture is shortly after the video leaves off; it looks like he got his ass beat alright... There's probably worse that happened once they got him into a more private area...
  5. That URL has a tracking code as part of the link (to see who exactly is reading their email). If you just go to the plain URL, it redirects to http://www.whitehouse.gov/issues/preventing-gun-violence
  6. The process to the a handgun purchase permit is the same process as the FID. It wont go as faster if you already have a FID as far as I know; they have to re-run their mental and criminal checks and then there's the usual foot dragging in most places too. They will also send out character reference forms again, but you can use the same people as before. Being unemployed shouldn't matter. You can just write 'unemployed' if it asks for your employer. If you get a job after the paperwork is filed it shouldn't matter because you were being honest and truthful when you filled out the paperwork; they were just slow processing it.
  7. It says "FFLs may charge administrative fees to do so consistent with any law requirements" which makes sense considering the FFL is charged for running the NICS, but since now all F2F transfers will require a NICS will the fee structure be changed? Will it be opened to private citizens, or will all F2F have to go through a FFL now? I wish we were allowed to see what exactly Obama signed this morning; The papers released by the White house today is pretty ambigious [quote name=The President’s Plan to Protect our Children and our Communities by Reducing Gun Violence]REQUIRE BACKGROUND CHECKS ON ALL GUN SALES: Felons, fugitives, and others who are legally prohibited from having a gun should not be able to use loopholes to get one. Right now, federally licensed firearms dealers are required to run background checks on those buying guns, but studies estimate that nearly 40 percent of all gun sales are made by private sellers who are exempt from this requirement. As the President said following the Newtown tragedy, keeping guns out of the wrong hands starts with legislation to require background checks for all gun sales, with limited, common-sense exceptions for cases like certain transfers among family members and temporary transfers for hunting and sporting purposes. In addition, the Administration will provide licensed dealers with guidance on how they can run background checks on private sales today.
  8. That's all he is, a troll. Engaging them in a reasonable or sensible discussion is simply not possible. The best thing to do is just not feed them. The reason that semi-automatic weapons must be allowed is because "Shall Not Be Infringed" is not very hard to understand.
  9. Not just that, and it may just be me but I don't see a magazine in the rifle to the left; and the one on the right is a bit hard to tell but also appears empty... EDIT* Maybe their just short 10 round mags?
  10. Of the executive actions? Exactly 0 of them would have prevented or lessened what happened. If congress passes the AWB and magazine capacity restriction like he wants, well then he would have had to used a AR15 without a flash suppressor and collapsible stock (assuming they don't ban the AR platform entirely, in which case he would have used one of the 2 handguns he also had), and would have to reloaded a few more times.... This all would have made the tragedy much less tragic.
