Yes I agree education is the key to success with many things, including this.... But sadly the fight has come NOW, it's at our doorstep. Not in 10 years when this young generation is old enough. What should we do, expect the gov to give us back our rights in 10 years when the next generation fights for it? Once things are gone, they are GONE. On a sidenote, I grew up in an urban environment, In my public school, we were taught that republicans were greedy rich people, not wanting to share anything.... Also that the 2A was about hunting and forming an army to protect our borders from invasion. No mention of tyranny there. I'm being as serious as can be, ask any student of an urban public school what the 2A is about, or about both political parties, and your jaw will probably drop. Luckily I was educated by my immigrant father who suffered at the hands of communists to the real meaning of the 2A.

I have a friend that is DHS, he has thousands of issued .40 JHP's in his house. They do use them for training. Still though, But something in me tells me that CISPA is more of a threat to liberty than gun removal. Anonymous took down the USSC website and DOJ website recently, they mention why on youtube. I think the .gov is running scared on the cyber warfare level. They want us all worried about gun rights, meanwhile they dismantle our 4th and 1st amendment rights. They have said it themselves, cyber warfare is the new battlefield.

The LEO's that I know are only concerned about where their next steroid RX is coming from. They can care less about the public well being or serving the public at large. But remember, they are HEROES.

My fight is for liberty and the constitution. The rest of the goodies like castle law and ccw come with winning the constitution back. The politicians from both sides only understand two things. Themselves and re-election.

What if Christie wins the presidential primaries, it will play out the same was as it did with Romney - Obama. Christie will join the NRA as a lifetime member and take a pic shooting a .22 rifle, just like Romney did. Even though they are both FOR AWB's. What I'm saying is that if Romney won the primaries given his background, you think Christie's people won't look into that. Isn't Buono running against Christie this November? I mean c'mon now, even if Christie signed these into law, what are we all going to vote for Buono come November???

Signing these into law will NOT affect him running for national office. Think about Romney and last election, Romney actually signed an AWB and it didn't hurt him nationally.

Nothing negative about these bills will apply to LEO's or politicians. They are in another class of people than us. We just work and pay taxes to keep them living good.

Exactly, you must run as a 'democrat' in order to win. I think once your on the ticket its an automatic win. If we did this a few times we could actually take back our state!
