I got this thing for snubbies, but dont want to break the bank (just got a PPQ) so what are my options for a budget snub? trying to keep it under 400 i have to figure this out because i have 23 days until i can buy again (dumbest law ever) !!!! cheers

that's exactly what i narrowed my search down to. i wound up getting a PPQ. i love the trigger, don't think its scary at all. SP-01 is still on my list, maybe in 30 days someone will have one in stock!

Funny you mention those, I checked out an M&P tonight and liked it. I really like the fns but the mags are expensive and can't find 15 rounders for it. I did shoot a ppq tonight and was very nice, but I need some more research. I want to check out a CZ as well.

3 weeks and 2 days. Toms River PD. they are great actually. its just silly this whole process that NJ created. but alas i will remain optimistic that NJ will joint the rest of the country one day - this nonsense cant last forever.

you would think that i hit the lottery, i never get used to it. even the woman at the Police Dept was chucking cause she knows its just silly. anyway, time to go shopping! I am leaning towards a 5" PPQ but need to check out some other long slide pistols as well.

So i am leaving for florida this weekend as was thinking of bringing my Nano with me. I have never travelled with a firearm thru an airport before (i do have my Florida CCW). I know that i need to keep ammo separate and declare the gun at check in. can i transport in the original beretta case in my luggage or separate checked bag? i just need a TSA approved lock correct? I was thinking of leaving it at home but now i want to bring it so i am scrambling for info. thanks All!

right now i have 2 of the 15 rounders; no mods, no issues. they have worked great. in fact the only issue i have had was with the factory mags. once and awhile the slide won't lock back.

It used to be explicitly stated in the manual not to use them; the one i bought back in march the manual says nothing about it. So i am going by that. I have 2 of the 15 rounders at this time and they do work great. mine was order from Buds and it was newer stock as they were out leading up to my order. also i have heard of people going to back for service and admitting to them they have used the Pro-mags and they still honored the warranty. of course this is internet lore, but for $235....i am going to shot the 15's and let the cards fall where they may. Again, my manual state nothing about those mags so i am going to use them. i did gets 10'a as well, and yes its so-so but when CC is gone we are going to 10 so there!

Magnum Research MR9 - under 500 and its a basically a P99 with a nice stainless slide. 15 round mags so no issues there. 4 or 4.5 barrels. great build and great shooter. Love mine.
