  1. https://www.sgammo.com/product/303-british-ammo/500-round-can-303-british-surplus-ammo-174-grain-bi-metal-fmj-1980s-vintage $0.50/rd shipped for surplus. Best price I've seen in a while. I bought a case already but haven't received it. You're not going to find any cheaper tho. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. I'm not sure which threads are on it. Friend I'm buying it from says it's a gen 2 but has 15x1 thread pitch. From my research, there were some early gen2 rifles with 15x1. So once it gets here we'll be able to check. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  3. Yea, I've shot it a few times, it's really nice. Ive been bugging him about selling it to me for like 2 years now. he took meticulous care of it. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  4. Its been a while since I've been on here. A friend from California has agreed to sell me his ptr-32 sincehe doesn't wasn't to register it as an assault weapon under their new laws. Checked the list and it's not in there but I still need to have a muzzle device put on it as he has a flash hider. Looking for shop recommendations in the Monmouth county area to do transfer and compliance work. Any info is appreciated. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  8. digging up this thread with some good news, SHES 99% DONE!!! just waiting one the locking shoulder. ran into some barrel timing issues but a little delicate work with a file made quick work of that. and got the barrel to time up perfectly at 10 o'clock. had another issue with the cocking rod, the pin hole that holds in the stop lug was too small so i had to drill it out. those were the only two issues i ran into. here are some pics
  9. If I ever get my change of address and can finish building my fal your welcome to shoot it.
  10. Applied in June at Hamilton njsp barracks for change of address. Called friday at exactly 4pm was told to call back Monday between 8 and 4. Called back today to make sure everything was going ok and was told "sir we're processing it." I fucking hate this state. How can an ffl do the same background check in 15 min and it takes the state almost 4 months?
  11. only time you need fingerprints is for initial one. I just submitted my change of address to njsp in hamilton. they said it would be 3-4 months. Plus i have to pay before i pick up my pistol permits and they gave me the old mental heath check form so i need to go fill out the new one.... this state sucks ass.
  12. I just picked up paperwork today for NJSP Troop C in Hamilton. I live in cream ridge so that's where i have to go. They told me it's a 3-4 month wait for change of address. When i lived in flemington it took less than 2 weeks for initial fid and permits. Man i really hate this state...
  13. Gun shows at schools!?!?! Think of the children!!!
  14. does anyone know is there are 20/15 metric mags available? or will i have to buy some out of state and convert them before bringing them home? i found http://www.magazineblocks.com/magento/products/magblock-kits/fn-fal/fal-10-20-block.html, so ill just cut them in half and epoxy into the spring so they cant be converted back
  15. $75 worth? 300 rnds of tula 223 work?
  16. i have no idea what something like that would go for...
  17. what kind of ammo and how much?
  18. If you have a vise I'm in drez. I just need a reciever and muzzle device
  19. Did i do ok with the price i got it for?
  20. i should head space for .308 then i can shoot either one correct? I think I'm going to do with the dsa receiver. I need to get a vise or borrow one.
  21. FAL =/= PTR. completely different setups, PTR is a civilian G3/HK91 clone. i want to build because it gives me and excuse to buy tools and because i like tinkering around with stuff. it was $500 OTD
  22. so i picked up a parts kit from the Sarco booth at the Oaks show yesterday. i always wanted a FAL but since they are illegal in NJ i'll have to settle for a SG58 . i haven't really researched into them too much, so any help/info will be greatly appreciated. does anyone know if there is a way to tell where this kit came from? They told me it was a "navy pattern" metric kit... i just wanted it for the polymer furniture over the heavy ass wood and it was the only one that had a barrel. its covered in cosmoline and needs a good cleaning but ill wait until i buy the receiver to do that. other than that it is in great shape and came with a stainless barrel. i'm fairly certain all i need to buy to complete is a few tools, vise, a receiver, some mags, and a muzzle device. i can add pics if there is any interest.
  23. all around i was disappointed with the show too. I've been to 4 or 5 in the past and deals were everywhere if you looked. This one seemed like they were just looking to screw people who didn't know any better. I was looking at some ammo when another guy asked if 7.62x54r was .30-06 ammo. The guy said no and started to explain but didn't know what thr "r" stood for. If you're an ammo dealer you should really know. But that was the same vendor that said he turned down a $1000 offer on a beat up type 56 when i asked how much he wanted for it...
  24. i was actually disappointed with this show. i went looking for an sks, and prices were WAYYYY off. one vender tried to tell me an type56 chinese sks was very rare and worth $1000. only deal i saw was a cetme 308 sporter for $510 and an unconverted slightly used saiga for like $560... i ended up getting an FAL parts kit. i can already hear the dsa reciever calling my name
  25. you can have a trust in nj. you can even transfer your guns to the trust. you cannot however have NFA items in nj.
