  1. I probably won't be customizing mine too much. I'd really like to find a 60s or 70s model in good condition and leave it at that but everywhere I look its just new ones. So I might as well get the one I really want out of the new models which is a take down.
  2. Another beautiful gun never to be fired again...
  3. Im tallkin about even more bargain than that. $1 or less per cigar.
  4. padrons are the best. RP second, the edge was quite tasty. i hope you enjoy them. im trying to put together my next order myself. probably going to be lots of bargain sticks with a few gems thrown in. gonna try to make a $100 order last 2-3 months...
  5. Do some searching for a DAO sig 226/229. I'm fairly certain they make single action only as well. My m11a1 (229) if my favorite pistol I own.
  6. don't worry they sell T t t ttaylor ham (blah) too.
  7. I don't think we try to discourage people so much as let them know the world of shit they are actually getting into. Most people have no clue what is like to be a gun owner in nj and we want then to fill understand the situation they are getting into.
  8. Jerseyporkroll.com suck it biotch
  9. I would start at westcoastshaving.com to get an idea of reputable products. But I bought most of my stuff from amazon after I made sure it wasn't cheap chinese knockoffs. If you want a cheap badger brush I highly recommend the simpson wee scot. It may be small but it is mighty. I bought it to use a travel brush but end up using it in my rotation because it it that good.
  10. thats why i like the prorasos green. its nice and cooling with the menthol in the summer time. and to everyone, if you are not using after shave products, start. keeping your face hydrated after the shave will greatly reduce irritation. i use nivea balm. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL BASED PRODUCTS. they will dry out your skin worse.
  11. have you noticed any depreciation in accuracy with the takedown version? i really want to get a 10/22 and i really like the takedown but i dont want to run into problems with accuracy or zeroing the rifle every time i take it apart. just trying to figure out if its worth the extra cash or not...
  12. technique will change everything. DO NOT PUT ANY PRESSURE WHEN YOU GLIDE ACROSS YOUR FACE. that was the biggest issue for me when i started. when you think you aren't putting pressure you are. use one your thumb and index finger to hold the razor and you will get better results. the next thing would be the blades. i like austra sp and gillette blues. personas aren't terrible tho. feathers are a bit too sharp for my taste and i end up looking like i got it a fight with a large raccoon when i'm done. stay away from derbys and sharks. what kind of cream/soap are you using? if its the canned goo then go out and get yourself a decent brush and some real soap/cream. it will make a world of difference. i use mitchells wool fat and prorasos green.
  13. If you don't like their price then don't do business with that person. Pretty simple actually.
  14. Walk in tell them what you want to pay out the door And how long you want your loan to be. Figure in the interest and you've got your monthly payment.
  15. the simple fact that i know there was an EO about this is why i would trust your word over his. as he denies there even was one. plus, he has a history of being a dick about things. in particular, a discussion we had about the difference of .223 and 5.56 in a full auto AR. ever since then i take everything he says with a grain of salt.
  16. that regulation was part of "executive action" taken by the president. he basically told them to change their regs or else. any following president can do the same thing in reverse. every time you talk about something you always present half the facts and claim your right. its not very difficult to do a quick google search and find the other half of the facts and realize what an idiot you are. for now i'll trust ty midwestpx as he deals in this stuff every day and probably has contacts within the BATF due to the nature of his business.
  17. He is saying that the BATFE might not follow the EO. And prior to this idiot in office trying to back door us, they were deciding whether to continue with the CLEO signatures for personal sales not to a trust. Sure you would still need a stamp but remove the step where your antigun sheriff can't prevent you from owning a completely legal item because "only we should have that type of firepower"
  18. if it takes place in 2015 then well have just over a year before hopefully a new president will sign an exec order getting rid of that stupid fucking order. i cant wait until this ass clown is out of office. and im pretty sure the CLEO will sign off in my county but why bother when itll only cost me $5 for a notary fee to set up the trust and then i can add stuff as i please until they comes into effect. plus i can put a lot of other things in there. its just a good thing to have anyway in case something ever happens to me.
  19. any of the CI samplers will be decent. i would suggest start with some medium bodied cigars and you'll know if they are good enough or which way your pallet wants you to go. honestly the only way to know what YOU like is trial and error. i usually stay away from those flavored things as i dont consider them real cigars. they are for idiot college kids to use as wrappers for blunts which i have never and will never take part of. thats just my opinion tho as others may love them.
  20. Ill be setting up a trust soon. Then submitting paperwork for a can and sbr. Probably going to go with 300 blk for my build.
  21. See I usually dont say "oops". my go to is excuse is "SURPRISE!"
  22. i usually save the cigar for after the shooting. gets the BP flavor out of my mouth and the sulfer smell out of my hair!! and he didn't tell me anything, i just remember him posting his load data after he got his DX or record. ill have to go back to that thread and reread it but i know it was there somewhere
  23. pretty much this until you get to the more rural parts of the state. pretty much anything way up north in the boonies down through the western part of the state/delaware valley then slide along the 195 corridor into the pine barons you probably wont catch much heat from neighbors if you carry gun cases to and from your car. anywhere near a more developed area/suburb of a major city or tourist area its gonna be a crap shoot. so i would say to you what i think the little green aliens would say after the get you back to their ship, PREPARE YOUR ANUS.
  24. nothing better than smoke poles and smoke sticks for a great summer afternoon at the range huh? BTW i found a club near me here in NC and i think they are going to start having BP matches. i have to wait until next month to become a member as they require you to attend 2 meetings. but, i will definitely be taking part in these if they happen or pushing for them if they don't. i just need to find a supplier like Dixons down here and figure out my target load sweet spot on that old renegade of mine. thinking about trying mosin robs load data and going from there as he has the same gun that he shot DX and several club/league records up there.
