If the serial # comes back as out of warranty (regardless of who you bought it from), good luck getting Trijicon to do free repair work or replacement... Their customer service is great, but they are also very strict from past experience. As long as the warranty is still valid, they're willing to take that extra step with you free of charge.

my wife and I use the amazon Fire HD10 (10" 1080p screen) and it's been pretty good and very quick. for $150 (cheaper during sale events) you can't beat it.... there are easy ways to get all the google apps on it too (if you're worried about being stuck with amazon software)

ANJRPC Exclusive. Evan Nappen’s analysis of the new mag ban!
fatty replied to gunforhire's topic in Gun for Hire
Interesting to see that Evan addresses how mags are "permanently" altered and that he considers riveting and epoxying to be acceptable; "(16) May a person lawfully possess a “blocked” large capacity ammunition magazine? A: Yes, as long as it was owned on the day the law was enacted and was permanently blocked during the six-month grace period. Temporarily blocked magazines are not lawful. (NJAC § 13:54-1.2 Definitions) A large capacity ammunition magazine must be permanently altered so that it is not capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition. (e.g. riveted, welded, epoxied, etc.) It cannot be readily restorable. An ammunition magazine which has been temporarily blocked or modified from holding more than 15 rounds, as by a piece of wood or a pin, is still unlawful." -
Oh god I want one of those so bad... too bad the only variants we can have are the ones with the fake cans welded on There's one listed for sale on ARFCOM.... usually dumb expensive

Speaking of hangovers... Ever since I quit smoking, my hangovers aren't nearly as painful as they used to be. I don't get buzzed/drunk nearly as fast either.

Average Yearly Spend on Firearms
fatty replied to capt14k's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
ugh... that's one number I don't want to know for my own sanity spent $4k on 1911's alone last year lol -
Thanks for the tips. I did notice the lawn gets a bit discolored at times when it doesn't rain as often. I'll be raising the blades asap lol. Great tip on keeping the weeds down too. Had no idea grass height had any effect on those suckers. Our front lawn is sprawled with weeds this year... pain in the ass
-
damn I've been cutting our grass WAY too short... thank God for our gun forum to show me the light on lawn care LOL I always kept it at 1-notch from the lowest/shortest setting thinking it was better to keep the grass short and not cut as often.
