  1. Cabela's seems to have redesigned and updated their website. With the new design, all ammunition products now list NJ as a restricted state to which they will not sell ammunition.
  2. Glad to hear as well! I run the 5 Stand shoot there on Sundays...I met your group while you were doing your orientation. Welcome! Hope you enjoy your time there.
  3. I believe Pine Belt has a patterning board on the skeet side. Next time you're there, ask them about it. I've personally never used it.
  4. Someone will always be available at Telco to show you the ropes. Our 5 Stand is nice and relaxed - come out, watch a few lines and decide if you want to shoot or not. Hope to see you!
  5. This thread kinda reminds me of this story from a few years back: http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2012/05/blind_rockaway_township_gun_co.html
  6. W2MC, This just popped up on my Facebook feed: http://www.gunlawseminar.com/calendar/?facid=0013100001mVwL7 This might be the ad you were talking about. I know nothing about the organization or their knowledge of NJ gun laws.
  7. I have no experience with this myself, but this thread on the AK Files might be of some interest: http://www.akfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=265672&highlight=mag+dye Let us know how you make out.
  8. Welcome from Evesham. I can recommend Cabelas and SGAmmo for purchasing ammo. There are a few range options in this area; voyager9 already mentioned a few, but there's also Telco Sportsmen's Club in Atco, which isn't too far from you.
  9. I think this is the story to which the OP's referring: http://nypost.com/2016/07/29/east-river-sailor-busted-for-carrying-unlicensed-weapons/
  10. Anywhere from 8 to 15 shooters. Depends on the night. Some very experienced, others just starting out. Most shoot multiple rounds. Our kitchen is also open on Monday nights. We have a 5-Stand set up on Sundays at noon ($5 per 25 targets); a lot of folks from Quinton have shot our 5 Stand and seem to like it. It'd be great if you came to check it out!
  11. Hi SIGMan Freud, I'd like to suggest to you to come out to Telco Sportsmen's Club in Atco on a Monday night at 6pm for trap. It's open to the public on Mondays for trap and it's $4 per round (25 targets - bring your own ammo, #7 1/2 or #8 low brass shells). There are plenty of people who would be more than happy to help you out; it's a nice and relaxed shooting environment. It's where I first learned to shoot trap. Let me know if you'd like more info. Hope to see you there.
  12. Hello JohnnyB, Not sure if the info in these threads is still relevant, but it might be worth a shot: http://www.njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/topic/75371-florida-non-resident-permit-application-process/?p=953762 and http://www.njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/topic/45063-fl-ccw-fingerprint-issues/?p=599969 Looks like the Sheriff's Office may be the way to go. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
  13. I think this is the story here: http://www.nj.com/essex/index.ssf/2015/04/short_hills_mall_carjacking_suspect_found_not_guil.html
