  1. It won't be the same. You're using real meat...........
  2. So you're saying you believe the McRib was once real meat........???????
  3. Yes - fully assembled in Turkey and shipped here as a complete firearm................
  4. Thank you for the kind words - we try to make our customers happy!
  5. Great! I hope he was happy with our service as well? It's been crazy these past 2 month, but we try.....................
  6. I would assume you friend (along with some NJGF members) got his .300 from me, since I'm the NJ Dealer.............
  7. Currently, NICs is backed up so you go fill out the 4473, and then come back when the FFL calls you...............
  8. I think he was referring to the telescopic aspect of the stock. But as Paul said, they now make an adapter to fold the stock on an AR rifle.........
  9. So you are saying an AR (5.56 or .223) would have less penetration than a Shotgun?
  10. OK - so OP must have gotten his gun and bailed out on us........................
  11. OK - Times Up! We want to know what happened................??????
  12. You would need to sign the bottom of page #2 on the 4473 - this is to attest that you have not changed status on any of the questions you checked off when you fist filled out & signed the 4473 (For NICs submital) You would need to fill out, sign & date the NJ COE for a long gun / other firearm Or you would need to fill out the NJ HG Permit if you are getting a HG. That is all that is required.............
  13. Let me clear this up a tad. If it is a Barrel shorter than 16'' The muzzle devise MUST be welded as per federal law. Pinning it, and welding over the pin is acceptable. If it's a 16" barrel it must be pinned, but many FFL's Weld the pin so it doesn't fall out. Some dealers just press the pin in, some Pin and stake the pin and some pin & weld - all are acceptable but there have been a few examples of pressed pins working themselves out over time so we pin/weld. Some dealers may even tac weld the device on but that never really looks good (jmo) So it's just a matter of varying terminology as to Pin / Weld......... JT
  14. There is, but IF the NICS units comes back wit ha denial, they will not disclose the reason to the FFL. The FFL only knows approved or denied. As I said earlier, there is an appeal process in which the denied person would need to request an explanation in writing from the NICS unit.
  15. The new system will give him a Verification Failed Pop Up response if he enters any wrong info. like transposing your FID number or wrong date of birth, ect. Everything has to be in order or the system won't accept the entry. I can't say for sure on the SS number because in 13 years I have never entered into the system, but as I said earlier, I spoke with the Head Supervisor at the NICs unit and they don;t even check SS numbers unless it's needed to help ID someone with very common info like a John Smith for example, and even then it's only used as a secondary check - relax - have a nice drink - If you get some funky reply from your FFL "Dick" call me and I'll have my ATF agent look into it for you.............
  16. NO - the Dealer cannot deny you nless he has a valid reason, such as a suspicion of fraud, or other reason the dealer thinks your not trustworthy to do the transfer, but that is almost never done. The dealer submits your info into the NJ NICS system and the NICS unit submits it to the FBI system, along with NJ system looking at your backround & qualification to own the firearm. If THEY deny you, there is an apeal process yo ucan go through, but otherwise the dealer gets an approval number from the state and that allows him to complete the transfer (The approval number is not noted on the 4473 and NJ HG permits and NJ COE forms. My suggestion to you is to relax, enjoy your holiday weekend and wait the 3-4 businees days from the nics submittal and see what happens. Don;t get all bent up about a denial until that actually happens - chill...........
