  1. I'm not saying one is better then the other not intended this tread to go in that direction. I'm just looking to diversify my portfolio if you know what I mean
  2. OG looks like your all set for our shotgun outing with all those clay pigeons.
  3. Thanks I guess same is true for charging handle?
  4. For a gas piston upper will you require a different BCG then one used in blowback systems ?
  5. I more see her saying ; please hand in your guns and get injected with HIV so we can all live harmoniously.
  6. Two things that would concern me.. 1. Humidity and requiring to having the safe off the floor. 2. Theft ... Easy for them to tie a cable and rip it out if bolted ...plus access to tools to break into it if they didn't bring it with them. ( yes I'm paranoid and maybe unlikely but easier for them to take it away and work on it at their leisure..then have to take it down a flight of steps or up a flight of steps. )
  7. Back in the day of cheap plentiful ammo: 200-400 rds 9mm 120 rds - 5.56 trap - 125 rd of 12 gauge birdshot Today 150-200 9mm 60 - 5.56 75 - 100 rds for trap Also frequency of going as stated in my earlier post has changed to 1-2 times a month.
  8. Two times a month ... One day pistol one day trap
  9. Great job RTSP... finally some progress on clarifying this great NJ myth... However, personally I am one of those who rather ensure someone has an FID before a sales person shows them a gun. I am sure we will all start to complain when a group of old enough teens (without an FID) will bombard the gun counter to fondle the guns and take a sales rep away from an individual with an FID and Permit in hand waiting to actually purchase one. Maybe then we will consider our FID a VIP card...
  10. Just on cabelas ... They have no limit and in stock
  11. No, for fear of loss it and remove the potential to buy more stuff.
  12. Nice what rail is that and size of barrel?
  13. Easily ( but rare ) possible with any hobby grade helicopter in the 450 (size of heli not price) range and up. I fly these type of helicopters, and at 2000 dollars we are talking 600-700 size which is roughly 27.5in main blades. Also if you are performing tricks in most cases you blades are carbon fiber which means they are very rigid to prevent warp / bending during intense maneuvers for quicker response. Down side .... If you hit something with them at full throttle they don't break easily and usually result in heavy damage to the heli and what ever item they hit . This is why most fliers are members of AMA which is American modelers aeronautics and they provide insurance for model plane/heli accidents.
  14. From my experience springers are more hold sensitive then PCP. Beeman or RWS would be my top choices but they don't come cheap anymore. PCP Benjamin Marauder. For a good website with reviews and articles go to straightshooters.com. You will easily see how expensive some of these rifles are.
  15. Welcome to New Jersey , leave you rights behind before entering
  16. So, any decisions yet? How about a Clinton WMA shotgun and afternoon 22 plinking?
  17. Additionally you don't aim a shotgun you point. Beads in most cases are just reference points to ensure you properly mounted the shotgun.
  18. The dates that work for me are 9/21 , 9/22
  19. I would recommend anything PCP or pneumatic ... This way you can carry them charged and loaded with safety on for long period of time. Springers are not recommended to leave cocked as it deforms the spring. My choice would be the Benjamin Marauder PCP in 22 . Great rifle and beat bang for the buck and great accuracy . Allows you to hunt with heavy pellets to transfer alot of energy to the animal.
  20. Don't mean to high jack but are the recommended bolt action rifles considered target rifles ? I also looking for a .22 bolt action for target shooting.
  21. The state arms which OMG custom guns has with the laminate stock is a beast. I would definitely get that if I had the money for a 50 cal target rifle.
  22. In there warm socks in my bolted down safe next to their loaded magazines.
