So I just spoke to a lady there and told me their mags are not serviceable meaning they are not meant to come apart and the tabs will break if tried rendering it inoperable. She couldn't say for sure if the block is molded into the mag or just a blocker like you can get for the magpul ones. So I guess I should be GTG since you cant take them apart anyway.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. It says "internally blocked". From what I've seen online it's still a full hollow body and full size spring. But I'm wondering if the block is in the mold or if it's just a regular block and they would have to be pinned. Was hoping someone here had them or knew more. Guess I'll call and ask them on monday.

It does though, its not like a regular mag where theres a baseplate, that bottom section is hollow as well.

Ask for the forms to apply for pistol permits, tell them you already have your FID. The forms and paperwork are the same. If your address hasnt changed and its the same barracks you applied to for your original FID then you shouldnt have to get re fingerprinted. State police are running about 3-8 months for permits turnaround time, so you have awhile to figure out what you want. yes you do need to bring the permit once you get it, with you when you purchase the handgun.

Muzzle brake or comp has an opening thats barely larger than the bullet itself to pass through. A flash suppressor has large hole as large as the device itself. if he has a mini 14 and doesnt have a pistol grip, which is likely, and no other evil feature, then a flash suppressor is OK to have.

Don't get me wrong I agree. You know I would much rather, as I have done, purchase my guns and ammo from the FFls and small guys like you and others. But also at the end of the day Prepping supplies, I would think you want the cheapest deal you can get, being that they are just that a Prep and not a firearm your going to use regularly.
